Peticija za pomoc Francuskoj (SRB/ENG)

Day 808, 02:09 Published in Serbia Serbia by Ciric Nemanja

English
Regardless of what today's election brings, I would like to petition the next government to re-evaluate it's position regarding France. It is wise politics to realize that the enemy of my enemy is my friend and to use this fact. I do realize that we're not in an alliance any more and that even some blame France for the PEACE breakup, but we're facing a threat far greater then we could ever pose to each other. Furthermore, I'm pretty sure France and Phoenix don't consider each other adversaries. I'm sure that enhanced coordination would benefit us more in this war against a common enemy.

Let us take Corsica for example. Sincerely yours realized that there's no point in fighting in the British front in the morning of February 2nd. The official orders from our MoD was Scotland, which was over half a million in the safe, and the remaining two battles were both almost a million points under ground. Scotland was secured, South-West England and Wales both fell, and this outcome was obvious hours before the battles concluded, and not just to me.

In the meanwhile, Corsica was just 45k under ground with 2 hours to go. Irritated with the outdated MoD command and the inability to fight in Britain, I blew my savings to get 5xq5 and hit for 850 damage for France. Confronted with the same conundrum, many Phoenix citizens came to the same conclusion and rushed towards Corsica. The famous Motaigne even earned a BH medal dealing over 8k dmg with 10 minutes to go. As ill fate would have it, the French expected no rush of Phoenix players and had planned to retreat from the start. Their president retreated with some 90s to go and less than 20k dmg to go until overtime.

Now imagine what would happen if at some point between midnight and nine in the morning, Phoenix came to the same conclusion it's citizens did, cut it's losses in Britain, and diverted all resources to France, informing the French president and preventing a withdrawal? I can't be sure that we wouldn't defeat a common enemy and hamper his fighting ability for the next day. I think no one can.

These decisions should not be made on an individual level (as they were on that day), nor a national one - this is something that needs to be decided by the alliance as a whole. Baring this in mind, I humbly ask our next government to firmly advocate France's integration in the war effort.
