Perim - The Tides Have Turned

Day 1,000, 13:24 Published in Canada Canada by ArtyP

It’s a loss. Another one,

But this one has a different feel to it.

Much tougher than any other I’ve taken.

It’s heartbreaking to know that once you put so much effort into it, for nearly a year, so much hardwork, fresh ideas, reform, and in the end its once again, gone from my hands.

Yesterday was a historic day in eCanada and eRepublik History. On Day 999 the most hard fought election took place, slandering occurred, accusations, false advertising, both parties did nearly anything to take the votes.

My only regret is failing the DAL once again. I cannot believe I let this happen to us, I needed that once extra push that I couldn’t find. It’s an unfortunate loss, probably the most close election in the eWorld.

Yesterday night was quite intense, with both parties have a full team of people working around the clock.

Personally, from my side, I would like to thank dozens of people,

Thank you to Citizen B, Scorpius, TemujinBC, Relic10, Lan Macness, Karsten Skeries, Acacia Mason, and my team of supporters who rose from the dead, came half way across the world, and came back just to vote!

I am so impressed at the reaction of the people who came to help, it really does give me hope that this party knows the right thing to do and when they come together, they have the power to bring someone down, but in the end, vote’s didn’t matter. How old you are did.

I can say it was UNFAIR, that he USED MULTIS that he CHEATED, it was an attempted PTO. But no. Today is a start of a new era. The Tides have turned, and we will see what Day 1000 will bring us.

I congratulate JBDivinus, my greatest opponent yet. It was a great election right down to 11:59:59. If I had to lose for the last time, I’m glad it was you.

From your loyal DALer,

Artorius Perim,

Vice President of the DAL
Minister of Health and Human Services
