PEACE TREATIES, RESIGNATIONS, DEATHS AND IMPEACHMENTS

Peace Treaties



Yesterday saw a declaration of peace amidst the siege in the eUnited Kingdom. It is highly belived that the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the eUK were the ones to propose the treaty. Although, in an interview earlier today President Josh Frost commented that he would have let the eUK go after aproximatly a week of occupation, but this way the eUS can save thousands of gold to help new citizens joining the game and their many overseas allies.

Does this mean the eUK and the eUS will be allies in the near future?

Well, the simple answer to that question is: Perhaps. Relations have improved greatly, many citizens of the eUK are looking forward to once again becoming close allies with the eUS, as are many eUS'ers to the eUK. Although we still fight each other in proxy wars and wars of liberation in Europe.

Resignations



Today saw the resignation of four eUK cabinet members, thats 1/3 of the whole cabinet. Thats if you include the Prime Minister, Dishmcds.

Jamesw

James did not resign as the Minister of Work becuase of the recent treaty, it is reported that it was becuase of the way the whole affiar was carried out. He was a great Minister of Work and he will be sorely missed by many who worked there. Meghan is expected to be replacing him as MoW.

Polio

Minister of Defence, Polio also resigned today. This was becuase of the treaty. And also as once described, the job of Minister of Defence is a poison chalice.

GLaDOS

GLaDOS, one of the Ministers of Foreign Affiars resigned for yet another different reason. He has become tired and out-done by eRepublik, so has resigned to leave for his native country Pakistan. More on GLaDOS later.

GGRyan

The most disturbing reason for resignation comes from GGRyan who 'resigned', if you know what I mean. He was pushed out of government for an abuse of power that occured before the treaty. He used his position to make sure that KaisKais let Maddog Jones back into the eUK purely becuase he was friends with him. Maddog had been banned from ever coming back to the eUK for breaching MoW rules and betraying the eUK. It is suspected that Malta1990 will become his successor.

Deaths



Well, it's one death. It's not actually a death, GLaDOS has not yet died but he will soon as he has stated in an article of his. He has returned to Pakistan to do so. I will not go into too much detail about GLaDOS accept to say that he will be greatly missed by all in the eUK, allies and rivals alike.

Impeachments



Again, like the previous paragraph, it's actually just one impeachment that has occured today. Johnobrow Dadds of the People's Communist Party has proposed an impeachment of Dishmcds. It is belived that although UK-Left has the majority of congress under its wing, this will not be successful as Dish has made great changes to the eUK and impeaching him just for signing a peace treaty is rather silly.
