PCP - Joseph Raymond McCarthy would have been proud of you
Before I launch into the main points of this article I would like people to note that in the past I have “crossed swords” with Don Dapper and the leadership of New Era. I find that their attitude adds nothing to the politics of eUK and I personally wish that certain individuals in NE would quit the game completely. I'll now move on.
Our CP is basking in the glow of a successful PTO of New Era under the guise of protecting the eUK. He (She/It?) has also been a long time member of the PCP ( People's Communist Party), this party has also been extremely active in the hysteria associated with the so-called ATO. For those members of the PCP that have studied the Communist movement in real life I wonder if they can recognise this man
His name is Joseph McCarthy he was an American Senator representing Wisconsin and his witch hunt against communism also involved the House Un-American Activities Committee. I'm sure that he would be proud of the current eUK PCP for supporting a system which decides the acceptable face of eUK politics. If I were a member of the PCP and actually believed in communist principles I would be ashamed of the support the PCP is giving to the eUK version of McCarthyism.
For those of you that don't subscribe to communist views may I point out this short poem.
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

what do you suggest was done instead?
Personally I would try to engage the 2 clickers, otherwise all this ATO/PTO hysteria will achieve very little in the long term, it's simply too costly in time and effort to keep up. If you could increase the number of 2 clickers that were involved the PTOers would simply not have the numbers to succeed.
Engage them how? They 2 click for a variety of reasons.
This is what I've been saying all along. Address the legitimate concerns (treating people like sh*t, real life threats, undemocratic actions) and deny dapper of his power base.

So, ACroc is wrong for punishing all of New Era for the actions of a few. But PCP should be mocked because of the actions of a few.

McCarthyism is about paranoid demonising of an imagined enemy. The fact that NE have been deliberately letting in foreign PTOers (and there is plenty of evidence) means they are an identifiable enemy of the eUK. Therefore, the comparision with McCarthy is invalid. Unless all those serbs recently let in and PTOed the UKPP etc was completely imagined....
Communism is about everyone being equal and having a say etc (in simple terms). The fact that ACroc was selected by all the political parties (minus NE of course) as the figure head for the campaign demonstrates a kind of pure democracy. Everyone had a say and everyone except the NE (for obvious reasons) agreed with it.
And of course,
Well McCarthy seems to have been proven right and the Commies did indeed infect the institutes.
McCarthy was a blot on RL US politics who used scare tactics and smears against a host of innocent people and ruined many lives for his own ends (not unlike a lot of modern Republicans, frankly). Even members of his own party eventually stood up to him and stopped what he was doing. To compare ACroc to him is offensive in the extreme. You should be ashamed of yourself. To link all of PCP to his brand of politics is ludicrous. Incidentally, if you are interested, a Senator from my own state was instrumental in ending his reign of terror, and I am proud to have had the opportunity to shake her hand.
