A Political Take-Over Attempt (PTO)

Ladies and gentlemen it is my sad duty to inform you that several members of eIsrael have decided to destroy our country. They feel that your voice should not be heard, that your ideas should not be followed, and that you should serve them. They believe that democracy is only right when they control everything and that cooperation is a bad thing. Even sadder is that many of these people are those who we are supposed to look up too, those who are supposed to lead by example of virtue and honesty. Instead they treat us with disrespect and lies.

What I speak of is the upcoming attempt by several members of eIsrael to “PTO” all of the parties in eIsrael. A “PTO” means that an outside force attempts to gain control of a party or nation. In this case elements from one party are attempting to take over all of the other parties in our country. Their end goal is to have control of all five parties in eIsrael so that they can run the candidates they want for each election without having to work with anyone outside of their own group.

I believe this is a shameful and pathetic turn of events. These people feel that they can control eIsrael and that they do not have to listen to you, the voter. I do not agree with this. eIsrael is a mixing pot of many different and unique individuals. These people come to eIsrael for a variety of reasons. But what unites them is their desire to make eIsrael the best country in the game. By working together we ensure that no voice is left unheard, that no majority tramples the minority, and that our country reflects our population. These people want to do away with that.

You will see that today many former party members of our nation’s largest party (Israel First) have left that party and entered their own names into other party’s elections. There reason is simple (and can be found on the FXP forum) – they want complete control of eIsrael.

I have no problem with elections and the voting process. I believe that voters determine who should be elected and what path we should follow as a nation. But for one party to decide that it should control the others is a sad, pathetic idea. Let each party decide its own path. If all five parties do the same thing then who speaks up for the minority? Who makes sure that our country stays fair and does not trample on those who think different?

I ask you, the voters, to contact each one of these people and tell them what you think of their attempts. Because of eRepublik laws I cannot post their names on here. But I am more than willing to tell you and explain to you who these people are. I can even point the FXP thread out to you. Help me stand up for what is right, fair, and decent. Help me show these people that hard work and cooperation stands above majority domination. Thank you.


Update. I had a discussion with yuvy15 on this matter. Yuvy15 stated that he “did not start it” (even though he was the first post to suggest “stealing” the other parties). So to help clear things up I asked him if he would write an article condemning the PTO attempt. At this time Yuvy15 states that he will not write any such article. When pressed farther he stated that he “has no opinion” on the PTO. This is the Speaker of the Knesset here people. I am now even more sad.
