Join the new world

Continuing the new experience of Erepublik, today's article is about party selection. Arriving at level 7 I have earned the right to select a party. With the chaotic structure of Erepublik, I found it hard to pick a party with my types of ideology. The only bases you can use are the political ideology chart each party states it is. This is a poor way to judges a party as seen in real life they may share many similar ideas but be split about many more.

This is when I chose to work off of the names of the parties instead of just the looses bases for agreements among members. I first wanted to join the Advancement party as it sounds as if they will be taking down London like I have stated in the previous article. However the term advancement is also very loose and no member could give me an example of what the party really stood for to be beneficial to the eUS. I then browsed along until I seen the Federalist Party where I used my education to realize this may be the fit for me without even talking to a member. I understand the federalist were the original founders of the Constitution in which all the of the social, moral, and economic values thrive from in the real United States. This single document cannot be interpreted by only its own value of words, but the Supreme Court must refer to the Founder's diaries such as the Federalist papers. The Supreme Court has had many Justice sit with the Ideology of an Orignialist. That being a person who believes the Constitutions means the same as the day it was written and all changes should be adopted through the legislature amending it if it is that greatly needed.

This is now why I have chosen to support the Federalist Party. This party is built of the founding works that has made this country in real life great. Despite your view on this country’s politics or typical society’s values, its culture has provided the world with more stability then it has taken. This is something I hope can be a learning tool from this game even if it is only meant for entertainment purposes.
