The TMP are in urgent need of refurbishment and here are my ideas.
The History of TMP
The True Mercenary Party (TMP) and the political wing of the popular MU True Mercenary Legion (TML).
TMP was started 2 months ago. It was formed after long discussion between the following:
- y.a.g (Head of TML)
- RobbieClark (2nd Commander)
- Orpheus De Trouvere (Head of economy at TML)
It was decided that due to the major surge in membership at TML (bringing us to 169 members). A party should be set up to give us a say as so to improve popularity and get influence over battles in government.
Several days later...
Y.a.g made a deal with the small patriot party of only 4 members.
They had just failed an attempt at presidency and the owner wanted to leave so the following deal was signe

The True Mercenary Legion will take control of the Patriot party giving it the new name of: True Mercenary party. We will increase membership and bring about changes needed for the party to grow.
...And TMP was born.
Y.a.g was first to be president increasing membership by 400% renaming the party.
Next head was Diabll0 a key ember of TML captain of 1 regiment.
However...
Since initial drives in recruitment membership has dried up now only at 18 members. It is time for a change of tactics or as I like to call it a Party Referbishment!
What I propose:
1) A change of logo:
The most important thing about a party is it's identity and it is important to associate ourselves with TML, but we need to change the logo in order to appeal to new players as a fresh organisation ready to take on the world!
This is the logo I suggest:

It is clean and still keeps us associated with TML.
2) Say no to IRC!
IRC confuses many young players and keeps people away from the game. eReupblik was built to be simple so why make complicated parties?! This bonus can attract players if my next point is used.
3) Recruitment drive!
Players need a push to change party, but with a few loving emails they will. Therefor I suggest that TMP have an active process of sending recruitment messages to all players over level 8.
4) And finally...
TMP needs a select team of members to help run the party giving suggestions and helping with recruitment. They can be picked by the party president.
This will keep TMP organised and popular with players of experience.

This is very true
IRC ensures someone is active to a point and understands more than "Log in, Click Click Click Click captcha, Click"

And some people (such as myself) just don't like to use it.
IRC should be banned. I hate having to go to third party sites to try and play a game here.

IRC is a important aspect of the game if you like it or not. A lot of the important things at party (and especially government level) happen on irc. Life with it, irc is part of the game

Vote - What about Skype instead of the IRC - we can have a group line always open... and we can discuss party information that way. Im not a huge fan of the IRC either...
