Party presidential elections November 2009

Day 727, 02:30 Published in Netherlands Netherlands by Cocoamok

Yesterday, day 727, we had elections for the party presidents of each political party. There are some changes, but the top 4 parties kept their party president. Some smaller parties changed its political ideas. In TOS we saw a surprising candidate Cl4sh win. Savokage, who became a few days before party president because Cult resigned from that post, just made publicity for this party. Only in two parties (BP and MI😎 there was more than one candidate.

1. Belgian Party, 157 members (310 on October 20), this centre libertarian party is for the Belgian interest, for improvements of the country and is for unity.
Kravenn won with 65 votes (89.04😵 out of 73 votes (presence 46.50%, was 40.97% in October)
baracca got 4 votes (5.48😵

3. Iron and Wine, 77 members (88 October), this centre right libertarian party is for quality of work, cooperation and unity.
Mitch Rapp, only candidate, got 48 votes (presence 62.34%, was 62.50😵

John de Lange, only candidate, won with 8 votes (presence 44.44% was 48.48😵
6. the Libertarian Party, 17 members (19 October), this centre right libertarian party wants less state influence in the economy and more for the private companies.
Thomas Fairfax, only candidate, won with 8 votes (presence 47.06% was 33.33😵
7. Dutch Link 12 members (16 October), this was a centre right anarchist party is for the interest of the Dutch. Now it changed its orientation to far-right libertarian.
Bolsius won with 5 votes (presence 41.67%, October no activity)
8. Socialistische Arbeiderspartij, 12 members (14 October) this far-left totalitarian party is for socialism and unity.
No elections: Roy Versteeg stayed.
9. MIBelgium, 8 members (22 October), this centre right party is for independence of Belgium and changed its orientation from anarchist to libertarian.
Huggy les bons tuyaux won with 3 votes (60😵 out of 5 (presence 62.50% was 54.55😵
Mitch Burger got 2 votes.
10. The Open Society, 6 members (6 October) this far left anarchist party goes about creating and forming a government with absolute openness.
Cl4sh won with 4 votes (presence 66.67%, October no activity)
11. ArtemIvanov for president, 2 members (5 October), this centre libertarian party is used by ArtemIvanov to show his independence and to make advertisement for his lottery). It was a centre left party before.
No elections: Artemivanov stayed.

Altogether we see some differences in presence. TOS got the highest activity with 66.67% of their members voting. MIB was second with 62.50%. I&W was third with 62.34%. BP was with 46.50% not that active, but it improved. GVD was almost last with 44,44%. Dutch Link was last with 41.67%. Overall the activity has risen. The most votes ware placed in LSD, 3 more than in BP that has more party members than LSD.

Four parties are safe to run in the congressional elections : BP, LSD, I&W and GLD. Only top 5 parties can be active in the congressional elections. For place 5 GVD & LP only have a difference of 1 member (18 against 17). The next congressional elections might bring a change. BP, that has now 15 seats in the congress out of 40 seats, lost many members. Many of their former members now have Belgian citizenship or live outside our nation. All parties lost members due to this. MIB, another Belgian party fell from 22 to 8. I&W lost many members too because of the Belgian issue, but they got a lot of new members, same as for LSD. The parties outside the top 5 have 8 days to change their position. But as 18 members will give you a place inside the top 5 it is for all possible to achieve that. The members of the 6 parties outside the top 5 together with all active citizens that are not member of a political party will be important for the coming congressional elections on November 25.

In total 280 citizens has voted. In October this was 336, but we lost many citizens because of the succeeded resistance wars in Belgian, emigration and dead citizens.

I congratulate Kravenn (BP), Mitch Rapp (I&W), Steingrimur Illugi (GLD), John de Lange (GVD), Thomas Fairfax (LP), Huggy les bons tuyaux (MI😎, and Cl4sh (TOS) with their election. I hope more political activity will be there soon.
