End of the track-athletics season. Here are the winners.

- Athletes of the year -

Men - Usain Bolt (JAM) - 2 times world champion, and in London 2012 he wants to win four gold medals as he wishes to compete in the 4X400 team.

Women - Sally Pearson (AUS) - third best time ever on the 100m H and only just lost the diamond league, as she fell in her last race in Brussels (Memorial van Damme).

- Performance of the Year -

Men – Yohan Blake (JAM) - 19.26, the second fastest 200m performance in history at the Memorial van Damme in Brussels.

Women – Vivian Cheruiyot (KEN) - 5000m and 10,000m double victory at the World Championships in Daegu

- Rising Stars -

Men – Kirani James (GRN), World 400m champion, only 18 years.

Women – Christin Hussong (GER), World Youth Javelin Throw champion in Lille with championship record

- Coaching Lifetime Achievement Award -

John Velzian (KEN)

Coach of the 800-1500 metres team in Kenya, he also build a development centre for school kids. David Rudisha is his most known athlete.

- Journalist Lifetime achievement award -

Alain Billouin (FRA)

Journalist for 33 years at l'Equipe and 15 years in the IAAF press commission.

- World Athletics City Award -

Daegu, KOR

Who else, as this was an excellent host for the world championship.
