Join the new world

Since in the past 24 hours countless battles have erupted all over the place making it easy to lose sight of what is actually going on, I decided to summarise them here to have a handy overview over the current convoluted situation.

EDEN's Main Offence

This encompasses EDEN's penetration of Turkey and general attempts of incursion into Asia to "liberate" India's and China's regions held by Iran and Hungary.

Greece versus Turkey

Greece attacked Turkey's heartland, namely the Aegean Coast of Turkey region. This probably serves the primary purpose of engaging Turkey in combat so that afterwards Romania will have an easier time capturing Marmara and penetrate deeper into its territory.
It may also be partially motivated by Greece finally having enough of constantly being pestered by the Ottoman's assaults on its border, although this is, if at all, a minor secondary motive.


India versus Iran and Indonesia

This war has been boiling for a few days now, but in the context of the large scale operation of EDEN India's regions saw a major push against their oppressors.
Aside from the country directly attacking one of its Iranian-held regions, Resistance Wars have also been started in West Bengal (by EDEN forces) and in Madhya Pradesh against Indonesia.
While of course India wishes to free itself of its occupants and are currently presented with a great opportunity for battles to succeed, it might also be an EDEN tactic to distract Iran and Indonesia so they will be less potent in defending Turkey. Most likely it's a mix of both.


Canada versus United Kingdom

Canada attacked New Jersey, which the Britons had previously seized from the USA. This will add another US American region to Canada's possessions, and probably be kept for the duration of EDEN's offensive to ensure that the UK will not be able to block the United States in case the latter try capturing Kyushu again.


Resistance War in Russia

EDEN troops started a resistance war in the natively North Korean region of Hwangae. This is probably just another move for the sake of distraction, since North Korea is Russia's puppet anyway and region swaps between the two can be conducted at any given time making the outcome of this fight relatively meaningless.

PHOENIX's Counter and Diversion Moves

Due to EDEN's complex attack, PHOENIX of course has to retaliate. And although 7 of the eWorld's strongest countries are a part of it, taking everything head-on without trying to divert EDEN's attention would be foolish.

Russia versus Finland

Russia attacked Finland again. Although seeing past outcomes of this move, it will most likely fail again in causing any relief for the forces battling Greece and Romania as Finland has shown in the past that it is willing to perform heroic and selfless sacrifices for the sake of their alliance.


Brazil versus South Africa

Now this is interesting. In the past few minutes South Africa has surrendered three of their regions to Brazil! One of which, namely KwaZulu Natal, borders Australia! Since the regions are fairly uninteresting in terms of resources and lack any other strategical value, could we expect a Brazilian attack on Australia to steal the attention of PHOENIX's enemies?

Slovenia versus Croatia

It started before/while all hell broke loose everywhere, so this is probably just an attempt to distract EDEN countries from supporting Romania and Greece.

Miscellaneous Unrelated Wars

These are probably not related to the major alliances' conflict, or only partially so but ultimately driven by their own motives.

Spain versus France

France attacked Auvergne, Poitou Charentes, Limousin and Languedoc Roussillon and started a resistance war in the Midi-Pyrenees, with Auvergne being their primary objective as its wall has already come down to -30000. France most likely just wants to take back the regions Spain hold occupied and seized the opportunity of their enemy being occupied with helping EDEN with its conquest of Turkey.
