Our New Congress

Good evening Israel,

It is with great joy that I come to you tonight after our congressional elections. For the first time in a while I look at our congressional list and I can honestly say that we have a nice core of active and helpful people in the Knesset. We have many returning members and some new members who I have personally spoken to a lot in the past. I normally don’t congratulate singular people because it can show an unfair bias, but I will break my own rule this one.

Congratulations to Silvery, Rusty Randy, and Katarina Jese on being elected into the Knesset, I am sure both of you will become active and helpful members of our community.

Now as I have in the past, I will ask that our newly elected congressmen to please donate their 5 gold to the Israeli Infrastructure Fund (http://www.erepublik.com/en/organization/1591490)

This idea of donation has really helped Israel so far. It has brought us a new Q5 hospital for Jerusalem, has helped bring us a great Q4 weapons company, helps pay for our monthly MPPs with our wonderful friends like the US, Spain, and Romania, and is generally an amazing thing for the country. So far Thain Peretz, Joran, and JJB817 have donated their 5 gold, and Alexander Romanov has donated 2 gold. Every month we get donations from about 50% of the congress. Looking over this month’s list of members, there is no doubt in my mind that we can get 75% or more of our congress to donate!

Also, on the theme of congress, all of our congressmen who have forum accounts have now been given access to the congress debate area on the forums. People who do not have a forum account are as follows,
