Join the new world

Israel conquered the newly-independent Sinai more than a week ago, I believe. It was Israel's first foreign territory in a long time. Originally conquered as a bargaining card with Cyprus, Sinai constantly started resistance wars, every couple of days, supported by people from Cyprus, Macedonia and others.

At first we did well. Cyprus pressured us to give up, but we wouldn't. We wanted territories. We wanted an agreement. And as I said in my previous article, I think we were right. If things had gone well, Israel and Cyprus could have formed an alliance and become powerful nations.

Things have changed since then. For one thing, with Bulgaria joining ONE and ONE regaining its strength in the last few days, it is no longer feasible for Israel and Cyprus to capture Medditerranean territories. So, in fact, this isn't a total loss.

But we still could have had lands, and the resistance wars in Sinai gave Israel's citizens lots of training. This is why I believe our defeat in Sinai marks a low point.

As I said, the RWs have been going on ever since Sinai was conquered. For a long times we crushed them easily, without letting them win even a single battle. But a couple of days ago, we began to weaken. We lost three battles. We lost four battles.

Back then, I realized we should attempt to reach a truce. A truce would have been the perfect solution. Israel has several powerful soldiers, but a significant part of its damage is that of weaker players, not battle heroes but still important contributors. A truce would have given them time to rest, to regain their financial security, to build up food and weapon supplies and to re-establish connections between fighters. And then, after a few days, when another RW would have started, we would have had our full strength to crush them with.

We didn't reach a truce. And today, when another resistance war started, we are losing it. The score is highly in their favor. And we cannot fight it anymore.

So let us mourn over the lost of what we achieved after a long time and lost quickly. And let us hope that next time, our and our enemies' leaders would be wise enough to get us permanent territories, so that we may not waste all our resources on meaningless fighting. And finally, remember that unless we manage to hold on until Monday, the next Israeli Knesset will have only 34 seats, meaning 30 less gold for the country. And what did we gain? Nothing.

Fight till the very end if there's a chance, and learn from past mistakes. In hope that Israel does not repeat its humiliating defeat again.

ישראל כבשה את סיני המשוחררת לפני יותר משבוע, אם אינני טועה. היה זה השטח הכבוש הראשון של ישראל זה זמן רב. במקור הוא נכבש כקלף מיקוח עם קפריסין, אך בסיני התחילו מרידות שוב ושוב, כל כמה ימים, אשר נתמכו על ידי אנשים מקפריסין, מקדוניה ועוד.

דברים השתנו מאז. בין השאר, מאחר ובולגריה הצטרפה ל-ONE ו-ONE צברה מחדש את כוחה בימים האחרונים, חלום כיבוש השטחים בים התיכון איננו אפשרי עוד עבור ישראל וקפריסין. אז, בסופו של דבר, זה לא הפסד מוחלט.

אבל עדיין יכולנו להחזיק באדמות, והמרידות בסיני אפשרו לאזרחי ישראל להתאמן הרבה. לכן אני חושב שתבוסתנו בסיני מסמנת נקודת שפל.

כבר אז הבנתי שעלינו לנסות להגיע להפסקת אש. הפסקת אש הייתה הפתרון הטוב יותר. לישראל יש כמה חיילים חזקים, אבל חלק משמעותי מהדמג' שלה הוא זה של שחקנים חלשים יותר, לא battle heroes אבל בכל זאת תורמים חשובים. הפסקת אש הייתה נותנת להם זמן לנוח, לשחזר את הביטחון הכלכלי שלהם, לייצר מאגרי מזון ונשק ולהקים מחדש קשרים בין חיילים. ואז, לאחר כמה ימים, כאשר מרד נוסף היה פורץ, לנו היה כוחנו המלא כדי לדכאו.

לא השגנו הפסקת אש. והיום, כאשר מרד נוסף פרץ, אנחנו מפסידים בו. הניקוד הוא לטובתם באופן מכריע. ואנחנו לא יכולים להיאבק בכך יותר.
