I'm thinking the admins would let us get killed for some reason. In some sort of grim, humorous sort of way.

Mexico was taken over internaly by the Polish, so there's not a lot of mexican's left.

Plus the global MPP propsals being voted on right now put's us in yet another good situation, as it will take many of the heavy hitters around 40 some odd hours to actually get an MPP with Mexico.

Okay...war is great...but has anyone really done a cost analysis on this "economic stimulus" package...how much does is it going to cost the government...and what exactly are the benefits to the government...the economy...and on individuals?

Alphamega's3: do you really need to ask that question? You already know the answer: no, because its RWAR, not war.

@ alpha it boosts the economy, specifically the Iron, Weapons, Oil, and Moving Ticket industries. It increases Production, so shockingly ,outside of Weapons and Moving Tickets markets, the prices of Finished goods and RM's drop. It increases morale, already we've seen that people are excited about this proposistion, it's not just a bleak outlook of participating in someone else war, and quite frankly w/o war, what are you gonna do in eRep, there's nothing to do. The new taxes, whether you agree to them or not, are designed to fund the war effort they were installed for this exact reason. You'll recieve a boost to your XP and you'll rank up, as well as being at full health.

My point is it should not be hard to do a basic cost analysis. If you had the numbers to support it helps the economy and even pays for yourself, then there would probably be more support for Sam's militaristic policies. A basic one would be tax revenue and GDP before and after...and maybe a long term measure meant of increase productivity because of the increased wellness. I am just one that believes that the numbers should guide all of the gov's actions.

Besides...if you really think there is nothing to do on eRep...I am not sure that clicking on a button will satisfy you that much...

@Alpha: The game itself loses a lot of it's point when you cannot RWAR. Weapon companies literally live for the RWAR, and they are a huge chunk of why eAmerica stays employed. If there was no market for weapons, the weapons and iron industry would collapse, and everyone's wages across the board would take a sharp kick to the groin.

Numbers aren't necessary for the discussion of RWAR. Common sense is.

You want stats? You compile them, it's not my job to find statistical data that reinforces common sense. People buy more during war...you need statistical data on that? People with higher wellness produce more, uh...it's a function of the game. You find the stats, and when they back up what I just said, we'll have a nice tall cool glass of Hawaiin Fruit Punch together in Baja.

@Swedish Guy: you're in Romania, and you're super-concerned about small nations being pushed around? Now it's my turn to LOL.

It's beneficial because even USNG can fight with Q1 weapons, or barehanded, then check themselves into hospitals, and after 1 or 2 days of fighting (you can do 2 if you do it right) get yourself up at or near 100 wellness. Production goes thru the roof! Prices fall, (in theory) and experience points are gained, as well as rank.

We have a lot of soldiers, but most are of low rank, and we need to rank up in order to defend ourselves.

btw, it's not going to be just us vs. Poland/Mexico. Look at the forums: a lot of Indo and Irani guys are buying tickets for Ciudad de Mexico right now.

Uncle Sam never laid it out, but I think it probably works out like this: we take a border territory or two, if the Indonesian mercenaries don't stop us, maybe hold them for awhile, then we start resistance wars in them and give them back.
