Open Brief aan Democratisch Nederland

De verkiezingen staan weer voor de deur en een dag geleden was er nog steeds maar één kandidaat.
Laat dat nu net de reden zijn waarom ik beslist heb om deel te nemen in de verkiezingen als kandidaat partijvoorzitter,
niet als proteststem, maar als volwaardig alternatief.

Want zou je stemmen zonder een keuze te hebben ? Of erger, zou je helemaal niet stemmen dan ?

Mocht ik effectief verkozen worden, wil ik me dan ook graag gaan toeleggen op 2 grote lijnen:

1 klik, 2 kliks, 3 kliks

Vaak lees je over inactieve spelers of zogenaamde 2-klikkers. Zowat elke partij heeft ze en je leest dan ook vaak hele brainstorms over hoe ze opnieuw of meer actief te maken.

Ik zeg: Vergeet het !

Beloon net de spelers die wel actief zijn. Laat hen deelgenoot zijn van je partij en je eMaatschappij. Zorg ervoor dat actief zijn loont, en pas dan kan je van inactieven verwachten dat ze meer energie en tijd in het spel investeren.

Ik stem, dus ik Ben

Wie zijn we vandaag ? Waar staan we voor en zijn dat niet net diezelfde beloften en waarden die je ook bij de andere partijen hoort ?
Waarom zou iemand überhaupt voor onze partij stemmen en niet voor één van de concullega's ?
Zijn we niet allemaal democratisch en transparant ?

Een debat waarbij we in eigen boezem kijken, onszelf opnieuw scherp stellen en de honger laten terugkeren,
want democratie begint bij inspraak en debat.


Ik ga je niet oproepen op mij te stemmen. Dat moet je voor jezelf uitmaken, maar ik zou je wel willen oproepen om te stemmen.
Vergelijk, kies...en doe iets met je stem. Ze is waardevoller dan je zelf denkt.

Tot slot zou ik je willen bedanken, jou persoonlijk. Omdat je lid bent van onze partij. Omdat je de moeite hebt genomen deze brief tot het einde te lezen.
Ik vraag niet dat je het met me eens bent. Dat merken we dan wel weer tijdens de verkiezingen.

Open Letter to the Dutch Democrats

Now elections are upon us again, I noticed there was only one candidate, just a day ago now.
No debate, no campaigning. Now let that be the reason why I decided to run as a candidate party president, despite my young age in this game.

Not as a protest option, but a genuine candidate.

Because would you vote for an option if there is no choice ? Or even worse, wouldn't you bother to vote at all ?

Should I be elected, I would like to focus on two major points:

1 click, 2 clicks, 3 clicks

You often read about the inactive players or the so-called two clickers. Almost every party has them and you often read whole debates and brainstorms on how to get them involved again in the game.

I say: 'Forget them!'

Reward the players that matter, the players that are active. Make them co-owner of your party, of you e-society.
When involvement and activity pay, only then the more inactive players will be willing to invest more time and effort in the eNetherlands.

I vote, therefore I am

Who are we today? What do we stand for and are those not the exact same promises and values you find in other parties ?
What would someone vote for us and not another of the parties ?
Arn't we all democratic and transparent ?

A debate to look into our own hearts, to wet our appetites again.
Because democracy starts with debate.

I will not plead to receive your vote, but would like to ask you to at least vote. Compare, let yourself be convinced and make something out of your vote.
She's more valuable than you think.

On a final note, I would like to thank each and every one of you personally.
For being a member of our party. For reading this letter up to the end.

I'm not going to ask you to agree with me. That itself, will show in the next elections.
