Open Letter to Spanish Soldiers

First of all, I want to say that all written here is based only in me personal feelings. I dont speak for Brazil or Terra.
Today is a great day for Terra+Eden. We both now that Brazil and USA had to do it. And we did it. Croatia helped us a lot too, making the job a lot easier (I hope you fun days in Mexico, my friends).
But now I want to talk to spanish population.
Not so long ago we made a joke: “Spain is leaving ONE!!!” and a lot of people believed. A lot of people like it and asked me if it was true. Sadly, it was not.
Now, when I see the last events, the low support Spain got from ONE and the determination of its people to hold Asturias (even knowing the best thing for you is change your capital), I must say you got my respect again. When I dont see Spain in the map I start to think “what if”
What if Spain was not in ONE
What if Spain never left Eden
What if Spain leaves ONE
What if, after 2 long years, Brazil and Spain finally reaches a long term peace...
Im not sure if it is possible... I don't even know if Eden want you back. And I know that both sides have wounds to heal. Your wounds are now greater than ours, since most of ours just healed... but we have the scars to remember the past.
So I wont troll. I don't want to make it bigger than it really is.
I believe its time for diplomacy now.
There are 3 strong countries on your territory, which means a long term occupation, unless you sit and talk. We have other targets to focus, so I believe it would be good not to worry with our own back. And I respect you. I know how hard you can be as an enemy.
So It would be a win-win situation if both sides decide to negotiate again. That's what I hope.
My respects and admiration for you determination.

BIG GIL: Yo como español odio los insultos hacia los demás, no comparto los calificativos (monos, gusanos....). En el juego podremos estar de un lado o de otro, pero siempre con el máximo respeto.

How different is to read articles like this and the comments from other brazilians like BIG GIL!
It´s just a game, we play for fun. But some comments cross the thin barrier between a funny trolling and a bitter attack.

Wise thinking, but we have to be aware that so far Spain caused only turmoil and that most of their allies, except Poland, don't consider them as core of ONE. Serbians, their population more or less, already expressed their incontent with Spaniards, but that didn't change things much. As AThompson once wrote, Spain is the only country that is entirely surrounded by enemies in the biggest alliance in this very given moment - it's a fact. And sometimes I feel ONE superpowers owe it to Spanin for what they are in the very given moment. If ONE is strong - so is Spain, if ONE is shattering, Spain goes down as one of the first countries regarded as "the bigger ones".
Their problem most likely lies in no organization on national scale, army is non-existant, people don't respect them, diplomacy is just a former glory of what it used to be. They made many quarrels with Turkey and even prevented us, Slovenia, to enter ONE even though we were invited to it by Hungary. From my point of view, deletion of Spain for a longer period or their comeback to EDEN would cause many troubles to Poland and could shaken up their situation in the north as the only big power around. If EDEN wants their glory days back, Spain should be a must "rejoin" for them.

Wrong. Spain, as you can see, turns into an inactive country. Maybe it's boredom, I don't know.

It's not inactive, I would presume they just aren't as organized as they used to be. And yes, if Spain joined EDEN the path to the Balkans through Italy would be wide open. Poland would face several fronts against them, they wouldn't want to get rid of their rubber region because it is possible they get attacked.

Dont know. Anyway, Spain had enough reasons to leave, I dont care if we got little help now, we did the right thing. Even if we didnt, the past is the past.
