Onward March Ireland

Day 819, 05:25 Published in Ireland Ireland by RingoC

Welcome to you all to my latest article. This article, aptly named, looks at what is ahead as we approach March and how our military has performed this month.

Ireland
This month we have finally seen and gained a united island of Ireland. There are plenty of articles already on this so I don't plan to re-write what others have already written about. What I did want to take the time to mention was how eager people were to perform this action was inspirational to those of us who never thought we'd ever take part in a battle, albeit a handover, that would upset people on the world stage. The decision to take Northern Ireland came across as being slow and frustrating, but I think that's just due to the level of mixed emotions including motivation, excitment, eagerness and a sense of achievement. Well done eIreland!

Ireland Defence Forces
After a bit of battling and chasing around, I am pleased to have finally been recruited to the IDF despite applying over 3 weeks ago. I entered the IDF as a strength 5 sergeant, but after our first battle out on the land of Northern Ireland I was quickly promoted to Lieutenant. At ease soldiers!

I appreciate that it is a logistical exercise to organise the IDF and I continue to thank those who put the effort in to doing so. It is no doubt no easy task. I salute you all!

Vote RingoC

Ultimately, this article is there to raise awareness to what I am doing. In this game my time can vary from being on the majority of the day monitoring all sorts of activity, to logging on from my iPhone. That is one of the pleasantries of this game.

I have recently been appointed as a Deputy of the Ministry of New Citizens, and those of you who have read my previous articles would hopefully agree that this is a good step forward for somebody who is dedicated to eIreland wanting to represent new citizens. What greater way to understand their needs outside of my own experiences than to actually have contact with them. Again, I have managed to build a number of strong relationships with other players in the game aswell as receive advice from ever helpful other experienced users. As such, this would be a great time to mention just a few of them for their efforts, experience, abilities towards eIreland and assisting in achieving our common goal here to achieve a better and stronger eIreland: Edana Savage, IrishPrincess, Wandering Rian, Sweetdrinker. I could go on, e.g. Michael Hook, Sydneypants, Sargant Stefanos and so on...

A 'better and stronger eIreland' not only refers to training combat skills and gaining strength, but social capital - helping each other and building our country here. Last month appeared to be a transitional phase here in eIreland, but now looking ahead to March I hope we have built ourselves in to a stronger position globally and economically.

With the Congress elections looming 8 days away, I wanted to put myself forward as a representative for new users in the Cork and Derry region. Some will be aware that I put myself forward before but was not succesful. Since then, I have put in a substantial effort to make myself known throughout the land, and for the right reasons. I have built up rapports with fellow citizens who have joined around the same time as me aswell as newer citizens. I want to bring an injection of new blood and viewpoint to the Dail. Many, if not most, of the current congress have been around for some time and although they are experienced and do what they do well, I would like to bring my own experiences, abilities and personality to the centre of eIreland.

So I make a personal early appeal to those considering voting this next Congress election to vote RingoC. If you normally vote for a popular regular member of congress, maybe you can also spare your vote to vote RingoC.

For a better and stronger eIreland,

Thankyou,

RingoC
