ONE: 101

I'm nearly 2 months into eRepublik and my position highlights why eUK needs to stick with the ONE alliance.

My level is rated as being the average level, worldwide, yet I am ranked at around 460 in eUK! That means that there are probably less than 500 eUK citizens that are ranked as average, or higher! Probably less than 400 ranked as better than average! Considering that a significant proportion are probably not particularly active and our weakness is clear to see. As an average player I am still the 2nd strongest in my MU! We need ONE!

In fact, we need ONE more than ONE needs us. Without ONE membership we would be permanently wiped. With ONE we stand a chance, as illustrated by ONE's successful efforts to get us a congress this month. We have to face up to the fact that we are a relatively weak nation within the eRepublik world. We need to be in a strong alliance and the alternatives to ONE are not feasible at present. Add to this the need to rebuild our reputation by showing some loyalty, long term. Our long term diplomatic efforts depend on us sticking it out. Building some solid friendships, within ONE, offers us long term hope. 'Long term' has been a phrase sadly lacking in much of the anlaysis of our position, yet it is key.

As it stands, even short term, things are looking up. We hold several regions, we have a congress and we are becoming better organised. In the global war, ONE is beginning to make some headway. Now would be a disastrous time to leave. Let's not throw everything away by repeating the mistakes of the past.

Let's stick with ONE. Be loyal to ONE. Support ONE! You know it makes sense! 😉
