On the Polish Advance

Day 882, 21:38 Published in USA USA by Myles Robinson

American Citizens, Allies, and people of the New World,

For some time now, relations between the United States and Poland have been spiraling out of control, entering into the chilliest period they have ever been. Tensions between the two powers played a small part in the American withdrawal from EDEN, and mutual trolling have only resulted in further strife. Discord was amplified by the campaign promises of the current president of Poland to occupy the American fortresses of California, Florida, and Karnataka. Throughout all of this, the eUnited States of America has restrained itself from acting belligerently and has time and time again sought to work diplomatically with Poland and Spain and to work through the differences between us all.

Now, though, the empires of Poland and Spain which have for long held dominion over the European continent are turning their guns to the West, and didn't let us know about the shootout. Through a series of landswaps with Spain, Poland has gained a border with the nation of Mexico. Tonight, the Polish Congress has overwhelmingly approved of declaring war on Mexico. Poland, with their Spanish allies, will soon be invading our neighbor to the south. We were not informed of this maneuver at all. Neither were the leaders of the nations of EDEN. Poland and Spain have embarked on this course in secrecy, not inviting us to join in or at least giving us a heads up to watch the fun. They refuse to reveal their intentions to us, and they are spending an inordinate amount of treasure for opening this venture.

As of now, this is perceived a threat to the eUnited States of America. The nation of Poland has been openly belligerent towards us of late--offensive national goals, PTO groups within our borders, severance of communication--but this is a step further. They are strategically positioning themselves to assault a region that will place them close within striking distance of our homeland. Some say they plan to move southwards and not north, but the mere fact that, after weeks of hostility, they are now putting themselves in an area that can get them easily to Florida and/or California cannot be overlooked. An unexplained attack on Mexican soil will be seen as a threat to the United States of America. This is a simple concept. You attack our neighbor, you raise eyebrows. You claim to be an ally, yet do not share your plans with us, you raise eyebrows. Poland has done nothing to alleviate tensions between us recently, and we have raised our eyebrows.

As the United States Secretary of State (MoFA), I say to all the whole now that, as it stands, the Polish invasion of Mexico is seen as a threat to the United States. If they had told us or EDEN of plans to conquer Mexican regions, this might be different; but they are deliberately withholding information from all of us. I request that the leadership of the nations of EDEN insist Poland explain their actions and assure that they have no ill will towards the United States. I ask our friends in EDEN, who came to our rescue the last time the American homeland was under threat and whom we have worked so closely with over the past months, to stand strong with us again. Poland must reveal her intentions, or else we have no choice but to view these actions as hostile.

For too long Poland has been secretive as to their true intentions towards the United States. Here we will ask Poland to reveal their intentions to us. They ought to at once acknowledge if they are hostile to us or not.

If that means war, then let it come. The assembled might of the PEACE Global Community could not subjugate our people; a Polish invasion would not be able to either. Poland, end this madness and reveal your intentions. We are willing to continue working with you; we've invaded Mexico before. It was fun. But if you go about this without telling us why... well, with our recent history, you can see why we're upset and feel threatened.

Let us know, 'kay?
