On The Brilliance of Sean Greene
Michael Holcomb
My recent article discussion the possibility of a third alliance, a so called league of non-alligned nations, generated fruitful discussion among those who read it. It was when I saw the comment of Sean Greene about how he had published that same idea on the Forums and it was shot down. I asked Sean to show me the proposal and he obliged.
Suffice it to say the proposal went beyond my wildest dreams. While I voiced the idea, the work Sean had done made mine pale in comparison. Sean has written a fleshed out proposal for a Treaty To Repudiate Unlawful Seizures of Territory. TRUST, it would be called, represents a brilliant proposal to create, unite, and enforce an alliance and treaty to protect the territorial integrity of its members. Open to any nation, this treaty represents a brilliant effort. Below is the link to the proposed treaty written by Sean Greene. I encourage all of you to read it, comment on it, and urge your public officials to examine it and make an effort to explore the viability of this treaty.

I thought the proposal was brilliant myself as well. There was MUCH debate in the private Dail concerning whether we should pursue it or not, but we decided it was not in Ireland's best interest at the time it was proposed.
For what it's worth...I liked it too.
You got to love these acronyms!
Lol. I like the title of this article.
The way I see it, if Ireland were to every join an international alliance, something along the lines of TRUST would be what we would look for. Right now, however, I guess most of Ireland wants to remain isolated from international treaties.
In my opinion, the treaty that I proposed would have little risk with a lot of reward. The only time that Ireland would be forced to go to war would be when a member nation(it should be noted that only nations with a reputation for neutrality would be considered for membership) was attacked.
I tried to make sure that it didn't look like I was specifically selecting an alliance name just to make a nifty acronym, but...
gooooooooo Sean!!!!!!!!!! woooooooo! sean #1 lol
May work if they ever bring in citizenship but since it so easy to take down small countries no one wants to band together.
From the first time I saw Sean, he was outspoken but still knew what he was talking about. I think he should get really into more politics. If I was ISRP party president, I'd resign and let him be the party president.
Well darn. Now I want to vote for you but you're not in the race anymore 😛.
And this would be our logo:
