On eBelgium

Day 1,052, 12:45 Published in Belgium Belgium by Theneka

In this article I will try to give you an idea of what has been going on in eBelgium last few weeks, and give my oppinion on those things 🙂 so feel free to skip the lecture (but pleas read the annuoncements on the bottom) of this if you're not interested in that at all 🙂 You could also concider this my CP resignation article 😛

Vive ma Liberté

I have official been replaced as CP by MaryamQ. I would like to take this occasion to congratulate her with her victory once more, and to wish her good luck. I hope that she will continue some of the lines that the congress and I have tried to draw, so that we can strive for further emprovement within eBelgium, along with all our active players and foreighn spies, without inter-party struggles or hostilities.

I think that my therm as Country President has been a relativly succesful one, as it was my first one. I have learned a lot of new things, and have met a lot of interesting new people and made some new friends. These things will come in handy in my further elife, and now I will take some time off from politics in eRepublik, and I will focus on my job as Minister of Foreighn Affairs.

You might notice that I'm not in eBelgium anymore, but I will keep my eBelgian citizenship, and I will try and stay active on our IRC and forum 🙂 On the forum, I can proudly say that I've passed the 1000 posts there, so 3 chears 😃 As Maryam hasn't posted a point to point statement of things she would like to do, comments on her presidency are not avaliable yet xD But they might come in a week or two.

Foreighn Affairs

As you can read above, MaryamQ has asked me to take the roll of Minister of Foreighn Affairs on me, and I'm very happy to have recieved that post and her trust. ThomasRED has reactivated, and I'm happy to announce that he will be my co-servant of the eBelgian people. I hope we can work towards some interesting things, and I would like to urge all players to mail their Congressmen to vote yes on this proposal that would give us some battles.
It is time for eBelgium to step into the battle and action, because with those fights all of our population can gain an enourmous amount of exp and it will benifit our economy very much. Food can be bought to heal you 300 health, this means that you can fight 30!! times a day, and if you wait long enough, you can recieve free health from hospitals too. This means that you can level up a lot faster if you have the chance to battle. I conclude out of that, that we MUST sign an MPP with a country that will guarantee us battles, and Russia is a good choice for that, so would Hungary or Rumania be.

Ambassadors?

I would like to ask of all existing ambassadors of eBelgium to check in on our forum, or to contact me ingame, so I can get a clear idea of where we have people, and where we need people.
I would also like to ask all players that want to be an ambassador to mail me 🙂
Being an ambassador means:
- Creating an account on the forum of the country you are being send to. This also means you should (if you have time) browse it and have chats so you can learn the people of that nation. You should also post the newly elected CP and her gouvernement on the forum, to give you a little help, just copy paste this:

Newly elected president: MaryamQ

Presidential announcement: http://www.erepublik.com/en/newspaper/life-with-maryamq-206037/1

Gouvernement:
Ministry of Education and Culture - temujin94
Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Theneka; secretary: ThomasRED
Ministry of Finance - Boklevski
Ministry of National Security - Thore Thoreson

- Ambassadors should also try to be active on IRC and talk with the people, and if possible witht the CP/Minister of Foreighn affairs and other officials of the gov to get an idea in what ways we could possibly coopereate.
- Ambassadors should report to the Minister of Foreighn affairs (atm, that would be me😁) and give me an idea on the situation in the country you are ambassador in, and how you would see cooperation between our countries, or if you have ideas for improvement, you should also let that know.

Don't be afraid to speak, let your voice be heard!!

Ambassadors, pleas report!

Theneka
Honored ex-Country President of eBelgium
