On congressman Bruno and the media

Ever since the failed PTO(of course it was an attempt at political take over)carried out by Bruno and his party there has been an element of persecution in the eSA media.
This must come to and end!
Congressman Bruno is just that: A member of our National Assembly and deserves to be treated with some dignity for it. I would like to urge you to consider the following:
- Give the congressman a chance to prove his worth.
- Cease with the OOC attacks.
- Include Bruno in the eSouth African community.
What has transpired since the elections is turning into bullying, we should definitely stand above that sort of conduct.
Now what can congressman Bruno do to help? A few suggestions:
- Confess, recant and start anew. We know that you came here with dishonourable intent and you know that we know. Apologize and help everyone get over it.
- No more irrelevant RL ideology. The extreme beliefs you've expressed mostly serve no purpose in eR except to anger a lot of people. Please stop expressing them here.
- Lay low. Do not demand offices and appointments. Work diligently to prove yourself and those appointments will come to you.

I'd love to give Ajay another chance, if only he would apologize for the LAUNDRY LIST of aggressions and transgressions against Americans, South Africans, and people around the world.
I just don't see it happening. Ajay will either pick out one small portion of text he will take issue with and ignore the rest, or just plain ignore this article entirely. I doubt he's capable of this kind of change, even if I pray to the Goode Lorde for it every night.

There has been little persecution of him in the media, what you see is usually pretty much truthful ( Ok, i admit, it is sometimes completely over-exaggerated, but what he tried to do to this country and what he continues to do to this country is completely unacceptable, you must understand why feelings run so high about him)...he really is that awful.
As the minister in charge of monitering the media and informing the public, i don't see any media i would call 'vicious bullying'...i don't see the issue here.
But i see what your trying to do and it really is honourable, but i have serious doubts about whether he will change.

We'll just have to extend this courtesy and see what happens. I agree that there's some serious recanting to do before we can move on but I also believe that it is very hard to apologize if you're constantly attacked.
Our courtesy has already gone too far, we have given him a number of chances and he has let us down, so much so that i have started a petition to have him officially expelled from congress ( Not in-game, but to take away all recognition and participation out game) Because he is just that incompetant.

Fair and square? Really? I can't help but to wonder if my definitions of those words differ from yours...
Ajay needs to apologize before he can be accepted and treated with dignity. No apology = no acceptance. This has nothing to do with politics it has to do with treating people with respect. Ajay does not treat people with respect and does not deserve any.

I find a little irony to this whole situation. I mean, seriously. Look at the people "shut up about Ajay" group, and then look at the "Ajay must die!!1!11!" group, and tell me there's no a clear distinction between who constitutes what group. 😉
Ajay needs to eat some humble pie. But so do a lot of other people. I could probably do with a slice or two myself.
The point is, Ajay needs to accept that a lot of people here hate him and that he's going to have to make a real, serious effort to reach out to them - not just come up with a bit of high-sounding rhetoric and a couple of high-profile actions.
But the people opposed to him have to make an effort to meet him partway - not expect him to do everything. Sometimes you have to deal with someone you hate because you can't get rid of him. It takes two, basically, even if one of those two has a very long and hard road to travel because of his prior actions.
Ajay himself is a bully. Why should we stop bullying him?
Well for one, he's a total narcissist and our comments don't help him. He needs to find a way to be a decent person on his own, we can flame him into magically reconsidering his ways. In the meantime, we should try to get any cooperation out of him that we can. Maybe if we treat him with more just a little bit of respect or at least indifference he will return the favour in time. It has to start from one side. We can take the high road.

We tried, he just never does!
I'll give him another chance, if he promises to read the media and stop proposing what he thinks are earth-shatteringly novel proposals but which have already been implemented and discussed in both the national forums and the eRep media.
Sadly Mr Bruno seems to have little interest in replies. I've seen him in the eSA media today. He's still up to the usual slandering and blame-shifting.
Bruno has insulted me, harassed me, and treated me like an enemy of my own nation. He deserves no respect from me until he changes the way he acts. He came here with a ton of outsiders and made them all vote for him, hardly winning a seat fair and square, he rigged his seat and was lucky to even get in.
