On an League of Non-Alligned Nations

Day 449, 12:20 Published in Ireland Ireland by Michael Holcomb

The recent discussion of the creation of a European Social Alliance. The development of international organizations is key to the protection and preservation of national and cultural integrity. But even more so it is key to the development of market integration and the growth of not just the national but the global economy. The idea for the European Social Alliance is a good idea, it is a strong idea, and in it's area of development it will succeed in bringing Europe into eRepublik.

But I'd like to explore the idea of developing a new international organization. An idea that has been discussed before. ATLANTIS and PEACE represent the bulk of the worlds military might and population. But there remain a grouping of nations who might be interested in developing a union of non-aligned nations. My suggestion would be, not neccesarily to rush into the creation of a third military alliance, but an alliance that would group together nations that were dedicated to restoring structural integrity to nations and developing and fostering a movement of peace, the noun not the proper noun.

Make no mistake, this is not a perfect idea, and this is not a proposal for any specific nations or any exact coalition. But the hope of this article is to begin a discussion, with the purpose of exploring the idea of developing a grouping of nations who will work for true peace.
