Hello Boys and Girls. I am Old and Useless.

Some of you may know me from the past, some of you may not, and some of you may ignore my words. That is expected.

Now that the game has been dumbed down to nothing more than a point and click with a scramble for pointless political control (Glad that portion of the game is still strong), I figured I would do my online country and a service and re-enlist and recover my home state of Arizona from these polish bastards.

Except, all my hard clicking would be for nothing since it seems this place hasn't changed in over 4 years and my return (or any old fart's return for that matter) would have no bearing on the shit show of events that have befallen this not so great nation.

I say this like the US was once great. Because it was, back when all the old people who controlled the government were young and new and had visions with a game engine that was complicated enough to feed this complicated politics.

Now this game is simple enough for guys like me to be useful, and yet you all still over complicate it.

Things have not changed with the game, and that is why we fail.

What is the purpose of this article? 2 reasons.

1. Because I have and always will be an attention whore, and love to see people acknowledge my ability to talk about things.

2. To inform you of one simple truth which I believe will be the one and only profound thing i've ever said in my shotty erepublik career and thats:

This game used to consume a lot of time and money. Much like a girlfriend. Yet we call it a game because it has graphics, engines and maps. We all seeked fast results when in reality strength in this game is built over time. A LONG ASS TIME.

Shit, I have been gone for about 2 years or more and Josh Frost, MM3, Colin, Jude Connors even Ajay Bruno are still trying to enforce things they attempted to enforce 2 years ago! (If you're offended that i didn't mention you, then I suggest you've wasted to much time on this game and you should probably sell your account, from what I hear you can make a killing.)

We were once a powerful nation with an immense community that did things like, Pulverize Indonesia, Kept Ajay to 0 followers and 0 parties, Did whatever we wanted with the map, etc.

We made the complicated game, complicated. That's what we are good at.

Now that this game is as simple and as least complicated as it used to be (RIP v1), the game aspect and community SHOULD flourish with this simplicity and the community centered around it.

From my observation from the past few days, it seems you have gone away from that and have grasped the balls of complicatedness with a point and click argue game.

I never was the brightest star in this shitty galaxy but I have every intention of using my click fighting to the best of my ability.

I suggest you either quit, or adapt with the times. The US will only be successful again with the right mindset and the ability to keep players longer than a month.
