Presidential Approval Ratings

Erik Victor has recently published the results of a Presidential Approval Poll which states that 63% of the eUS population approve of president scrabman's performance. I can already hear people grumbling about the numbers of USWP people skewing the polls, but the poll also found that, even without respondents from USWP, 62% of non-USWP-affiliated respondents also approve of president scrabman's performance. On a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the most effective, president scrabman recieved an average rating of 4 for effectiveness as a president. For June's election, 66% of respondents said they would vote for scrabman, with kyle321n coming in second at 16%, 6% for Emerick and 13% for other/none of the above.

The poll also concluded that just under half of the respondents believe that eUS taxes are too high, with most saying they are slightly too high.

As far as security is concerned, 59% of respondents also agreed that president scrabman is doing very well at keeping eUSA safe.

Admins respond to PTO of Germany

It has been discovered that there were Polish "multis" (individuals illegally creating multiple accounts) that were used in the recent congressional political take over (PTO) of Germany and these accounts have been "permabanned" (permanently banned) from eRepublik. Initial damage has been done to eGermany, but Germany now has the opportunity to try to reverse the damage done. Of concern is still the possibility of PTO in the upcoming presidential elections in June.
