What I have heard from oldfags are the tales of WWIII
How we were down to Florida and managed to break free
The country was united and we had a babyboom
And this era is a stalemate and ‘I’m gonna quit real soon’

Now lots of them they did just that but I see some on the forum
And sometimes I get a little taste that there’s a hidden quorum
And sometimes I’m reminded hard that I’m not in the know
That much I grasp but what is what and just how much is snow

Now it seems to me the USA is kinda weak of late
Without the power to steer a course away from some dread fate
And I wonder if the grand old guard is just aheaded home
To the good old days when we were spilling blood to gain a throne

I’m not to lead I am aware and so have not a say
There are a few new leaders and some more are on their way
And I hope for DIo or just blind chance to give us all a kick
Before the horrible end that leaves this poor dog without his fix
