O'residency

Day 651, 20:37 Published in Japan Denmark by Oraizan

A lot of what I plan to do as president is in my lengthy articles from last term. With this article I plan to revise all the changes I am thinking of. I apologize in advance if it is too long. For my policy last term just click my newspaper icon and you can look back and see the rest of my policy! (I warn you, I wrote a lot last election)

First plan of action: Activity

Every president I have seen follows the same pattern. They are enthusiastic for a few months, and then the die down and become quiet. Right now it feels as if this cycle has reversed, and I hope that I will be given the chance to fix that.

So what do I mean? Although I did not find transparency a problem before, I believe it is becoming one now. Many people used to believe that the country was run by a small select group of people pushing Japan forward. When I think back on it, I don't understand where that comes from. I brought topics to Congress that other countries ridiculed me for. I was called 'stupid' numerous times for allowing congress to debate and discuss even just the kyushu issue. Yet I still pushed forward knowing that Japan would want to have the say. That is what true transparency is, being able to trust your congress with the worst situations.

Last term I did not run based on changing the government, and I don't plan to start now. What I do want to do is yet again, return Japan back to what it was. Transparent government, friendly comunity, booming economy, experienced congress.

Secon😛 mentoring
The idea's of mentoring younger citizens was a great idea brought up by congress, but I want to push it further. I want to find experts on topics that are usually un-touched and many people have little experience in, and have them tutor those who need that specific part of the game. This is a goal that I believe will push Japan into a better, long-term future. I also think it is one of the most important projects to be done. Educating the new generations so that Japan can grow into a much better future.

Third; Population
We all know that a strong country means having a large population. I plan to add a new aspect to the foreign affairs. I want to have Ambassadors to specific countries reach out and let other countries really know what kind of place Japan really is. This way we can -hopefully- convert some citizens from larger countries who want to have their voice heard.

I also plan to gather up a group of people to try and advertise eJapan outside of eRepublik. There are many Japanese and Japan related websites that we can reach out to. I have already started this personally within a few of comunities I am a part of personally, but I want to expand it to a much wider audience.

Any specific questions send me a PM or comment and I will be glad to answer.
Vote Oraizan on the fifth!

P.S. Quote of the article~
Conquer the angry man by love.
Conquer the ill-natured man by goodness.
Conquer the miser with generosity.
Conquer the liar with truth.
