Join the new world

First I'd like to announce that I am again running for Congress in North Carolina. Over the past month I have loved hearing from citizens voicing their concerns. I only wish more would do it! I have been working hard to represent you in Congress, as crazy as it can get sometimes. With this next term I hope to continue to represent the people of this great state that I call my home. Now, as far as recent events?

Military Supply and Pay
Working within the military I've seen it change many times within the past couple of months. Some for the better, some worse. Our Quartermaster system is sometimes shaky. I think this should be the military's number one priority. The current system has been working so far for my platoon. I hope it continues to. If it does, I agree with many in the military that pay will no longer be needed(very least needs to be reduced). Military pay was originally put in place so soldiers could buy their own weapons. However with current inventory limits, this becomes impossible. Not to mention the drain it has on the treasury.

The War
For or against it doesn't matter at this point, we're at war. But for the record, I voted for the war and still support it. Many see this war as Atlantis or the eUS as picking on France. What it truly is however, is a war against PEACE. War against an alliance that is content with gobbling up smaller nations and refusing to set them free. Now, do I see us doing this to France? No I do not. This war was never to wipe France from the map, and nothing was ever discussed about a permanent occupation of France. This war was about freeing Switzerland(which we had discussed within Congress long before anyone considered invading France). This war had a second goal of destabilizing PEACE. Neither of this goals call for the long-term occupation of French lands. PEACE can call us imperialist all they want. All I know is that the vast majority of PEACE members currently occupy multiple countries. Their words ring hollow in my ears.

TREASON!!
The question on everyone's mind today. Did certain USWP members commit treason? In short, no. However I don't like what they did. Concerning both their media campaign to end the war and with their appeal of support(of said media campaign) from the French president. Discouraging fighting and/or calling for a premature end to the war does nothing but hurt the war effort and does a disservice to our allies who we have agreed to support. I realize this was done by a few within the USWP and not the entire party. I can only condemn the acts of a few that I would say were "suspect/shady". I have no problem with people that don't support the war, especially those that have done so from the beginning. But to suddenly start speaking out against it once things get into the nitty gritty strikes me as very odd. I'll leave it at that.

Conclusion
Ended up being much longer than I had planned. I'd like to close by congratulating the troops for their service thus far. Continue in your service to our great country.

Bonus Tip: To those not in the military, I recommend fighting when you can. You don't need a weapon to fight,do it for both free xp and wellness. (Move to Florida, Fight til 50 wellness, use hospital = 100 wellness) If you are unable to make it to Florida, just fight til a wellness of 100-(Q of hospital x 10). A high wellness makes you more productive at work and more effective on the battlefield!
