This is for the tax cut. Right now we already pay an absurdly small amount in taxes. Personally passing this would gain me a measly .6 pounds a day. That is it. Keeping our bonuses and not being wiped gains me much more than that paltry amount. This is seeming to be more and more a political move made to gain popularity than it is from any real desire to assist our fellow citizens. No numbers have yet been shown that this would help us.
Next we have the vote to MPP with Latvia. I voted yes. Why? Because I have been a citizen of the eUk when we have been wiped. I have been here through the good and the bad for over 4 years now. One thing that I have noticed? We drop our MPPs we get hurt. So all hail eUk! All hail our Allies! All hail Sirius!

actually, fighting wisely has a greater influence in daily 'profit'. An good combat orders DO save a lot of money in case of war. It's not only what you earn but what you spend, and that applies both to individuals and government.
I take it you haven't seen Alfa's articles spelling out the reasons for cutting tax? Normally I support tax at 2%, but as a temporary measure we need to bring it down.
Work Tax is linked to the average eUK wage, which lately has been spiked by both the introduction of houses and the recent missions; so now in a couple of days using WRM and food companies will become unprofitable (some of them already are), i.e it will cost more money to produce the products than money gained from selling it. This means that WRM and FRM production will effectively stop, depriving the government of all of those taxes
The taxcut would of been a temporary measure IF the rise was due to spikes not terrorism.
We'll eventually get back down to £40 a day once the spikes disappear off the 30 day record but by keeping it at 2% we cause losses in lower Q RM production.
Gov would of still earned enough cash at 1%, All they are doing at 2% is causing suffering.

It seems to me that we only have high taxes to fund the thieves we elect as CP with more and more frequency. Congress collects taxes and steadfastly refuses to fund any benefits for its citizens.
If you look at the increase in tax receipts they are rising at a frightening rate, where exactly are these taxes going? Has congress decided who the next crooked CP will be? If so have they ensured that they will be getting their cut?
Congress can only impeach a CP. The population choose the CP (and congress).
You can only hope the eUK population is wise, if not eUK is screwed. .
Wow.... Bigant supports my position... Man... Now I know I'm wrong. Bloody hell.
