Join the new world

Dear citizens, i know you have been waiting to hear from me again, so now I present you my second article. It will clarify my intentions for the future.

In the past and present, I have been working with some prominent citizens from this country. I have learned from their experience. I intent to use that experience for serving my country to the best of my abilities.

First things first; cabinet is almost assembled. Due to the fact that there is still an important department to be filled and some answers to be received, I wont announce it yet.

Let me tell you about me and what I want to achieve.

Like you could read in the previous article NLSP stands for Negotiator.Leader.Social.Patriot but that doesn't say a lot about my plans
so let's start with myself:
I started eRepublik in December 2009 in eBelgium, did a little bit of travelling, but was never very active in the community.That changed in oktober last year, then I just decide😛 “hey maybe I can take part in this great community. After some talkswith active players I made a decision that until today I do not regret. I introduced myself on the national forum (follow my example and go to www.erepbelgium.com ) and then the fun really started.
I got elected as Congressmember, put a lot effort into the constitution, got a cabinet position and succeeded in getting the Supreme Court running for the first time in our history. I joined the army, first as private but then became officer and now I stand before you as commander of the armed forces of eBelgium. As Commander of the Army, loyal party member of ULA, Congress member and Minister I will explain to you what I will do when you elect me as your President!

Congress Affairs

As Congress Member I came a cross some/many situations that I thought: "Why didn't anyone tell us earlier" or "Shouldn't we be informed about such important things?"
Well that needs to change! Congress should be informed about important stuff. They represent all the citizens of eBelgium and should be up-to-date. There authority should be respected. Because of the critical view on his decision he needs to put more effort and thought into his proposals.
As future President,I am also proud to inform congress that I want some laws to be voted by them. The long expected revision of the Constitution should be finished in my term and a proposal will be made to give congress more responsibility and power on certain areas.

Foreign Affairs

As a comander from the army I always hope for some action to get our troops to show what they can do, but I don’t prefer a war that threatens our country. As it stands today, nobody can change it, you have to elect a war-time CP.
When elected I will put all my effort into defending eBelgium. My principle is "We are not a road!" We will put up a fight against every country that without consent (tries) to take away a region.
I will lead our military into victory and we should prepare ourselves for a victory parade in London.
"Rendez-vous in London" are the keywords for the next days!

When the situation is settled, talks will be made to start again a good controlled TW with our friends from the Netherlands, if our congress agrees.
The MoFA will be asked to keep good relations with all countries that helped us. Meanwhile, the countries that stood against us in battle, will stay under the radar of the MoFA. Later in my term, when the war is over, congress will see a proposal about our neutrality and if we want to keep it or not. Cause this important decision, prepared by your government, will be made in congress. It will determine a big part of our future, cause openly picking a side could make us vulnerable for attacks..

Home Affairs

A lot of things should be done for our own players.
*The Mentor-programme has to become active again. Every new player in eBelgium should get a personal message inviting them to take part in it. There are more then enough active players in eBelgium that are willing to become the mentor of a new player.

*Fun has to become synonym for our community. A bit more trolling and forum-games, more articles. eBelgium has to become more active again. I will appoint someone, who’s only job will be, to bring more fun into the game!

*Immigration has to become better organised. Congress should get, for every citizen application, an advise, that should be delivered at least 3 days after the application. People that are rejected should get more info and the rules to allow someone citizenship should be more transparent.

I am sure that with the support of my own party, the ULA, where I can count on a strong and loyal base of friends and supporters, a fantastic month is going to happen. The assistance offered by them, and all other eBelgian citizens, will be very useful! I will include members of different parties in my cabinet. I want to thank my friends from the other parties for their support and I am honoured with the official support from Res Belgica and Belgian Democratic Front.
