NFRonny, the movie. Soon in a Congress nearby you?

Day 1,157, 02:22 Published in Belgium Belgium by NicknameFromRonny

Hello voters,
Look at your congressmen,
Now back to me,
Now back at your congressmen,
NOW BACK TO ME

Sadly, they aren’t me,
but if they had stopped their endless talks and switched to my principles, they could vote like they’re me.

Look down,
Back up,
Where are you?
You’re in some Flemish voting office with the difficult choice on who you should vote.
What’s in your hand
Back at me.
I have it, it’s a list with ten principles that you will love.
Look again
The principles are now diamonds.

Anything is possible when NicknameFromRonny is in Congress and not some PTOer.
I am a moose.

Now, for the serious part.

I will not promise you that I will change this or that from the moment I am elected. That’s because I realise that a Congressman is not a CP. He doesn’t have the ability to change things overnight. What a Congressman DOES own, are tools to help this nation grow and stabilize. Therefore I will instead present to you this list of the ten principles that will motivate all my votes and proposals. They will show what I stand for, and what I will represent for you in Congress.

1. No needless jibjabbering. Debate is ok, and should be, but congress serves for taking decisions. Holding up discussions will not be my style, providing arguments will be.
2. We have a small community. Working in this community requires sense, and willingness to compromise. That’s the way for getting stuff done.
3. As I stated before, we’re a small community, so new players should be helped. Especially with the new economic module. The state has an active roll to fulfill in the economic part in order to help our citizens. That’s also why I come on your voting lists for the BCP.
4. I will only support a MPP that doesn’t compromise our current neutral position. We balance on a thin line with our neutral status, and not falling off can only with an MPP that doesn’t conflict with the views from our stronger neighbours. That’s called being a realist.
5. Does that mean I’m a neutrality hardliner? No, but I believe we should only give it up for an alliance that can assure our safety and provides us a range opportunities. One like that isn’t on the horizon at the moment.
6. I will support every sensible initiative for babybooms in our eNation.
7. The military should grow, cause it gives players a new dimension to the game. Congress should be a control mechanism, but not a break. We must give them space.
8. Be open about what we do. In eBelgium, there must be no place for elitism. It’s also a two-way street, by listening to the people around us.
9. On economic matters, I prefer a high VAT over a high income tax. Tax consumption instead of labour.
10. This is a game, but a game amongst RLpeople. Having respect and having fun is vital.

I wish all candidates most of luck, and just hope people will vote for the views they like the most. If these are my views, or BCP views, I’m a happy moose. If not, doesn't matter, same friends. But in any case, go out to vote for a real eBelgian. Thanks for your time and vote smart.

I am a moose.
