Newt Gingrich for ANP PP!

Day 663, 22:14 Published in Australia Australia by Newt Gingrich

Members of the Australian National Party; I, Newt Gingrich, am running for the position of Party President for the ANP this term. For those of you who do not know who I am, I am currently serving my 4th term in the eAustralian Senate (one term of which I served as Deputy Speaker). Last term I served as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs under PM Ranger Bob and this term PM Scotywest has chosen me to serve as Minister of Foreign Affairs. Within the ANP I have served as Congressional Liaison and Vice President of the Party this past month with Ezekiel Thomas. I am also a member of the eAustralian military having formerly served in AAR and presently serving in the ACUK.

The first thing I would like to address is the view that many hold or have held about the ANP. Over the past two months the ANP has seen some hardship and has been working to gain back the trust of the eAustralian citizens. I plan to continue to work towards better relations with the public. We need to put the faith back in the ANP. I will stop any bit of corruption I see taking place within the party and do my best to make sure it doesn't happen in the first place.

Secondly, the ANP has been growing in membership on eRepublik for quite some time now. I would to begin several ad initiatives to get more members, members to sign up on the forums, and increased activity in Senate and PM elections. Having large numbers helps but the people are not active the numbers are pointless. Speaking of activity; I have not chosen a VP yet for my term if elected, but if elected I will chose someone who will remain active to serve the members of the ANP as best as possible. My council will be chosen within the first 24-48 hours of my presidency.

Third, of course, is to keep Capitalism strong in eAustralia. We need to continue to aid private business owners to improve the eAustralian economy and encourage citizens to get involved in the business world. We cannot have the government hurting the average eAustralian's citizens chance at achieving their economic goals. Keeping government involvement in the market at a minimum is crucial. Yes, the government has to be involved somewhat, but hopefully in a smaller fashion.

The fourth thing I would like to achieve is having an ANP bred candidate run and win the PM election within the next two months. I know we can do it and I will work with members to get elected to the Senate, try and get Cabinet positions and further the ANP's chances for the PMship. Our numbers are rising and if we can also work with some other parties in eAustralia we can make it happen.

People of the ANP we you go to the polls on the 15th I want you to vote for the candidate who you feels best represents your interests and the interests of the ANP. I hope that you will see that I am that candidate working day in and day out for the people. So Vote Newt Gingrich ANP PP!

Sincerely,

Newt Gingrich
Minister of Foreign Affairs
Senator for Queensland
Australian National Party Vice President
