India On The Brink of Destruction

For the first time since April 2008, India is on the brink of losing all 16 of her regions to an invading Pakistan. In contemporary eRep history Pakistan has been much weaker than India. Though the Indians did not insult the Pakistanis, they did occupy their land on multiple occasions. For long periods of time Pakistan had jurisdiction only over two of the four Pakistani regions, an insult to a nation that once occupied fifty regions: all of Pakistan, China, and India. This was in 2008 (BETA) under the leadership of Dio Brando, who became "God-Emperor" of the "Holy Empire of Pakistan", starting a new religion known as 'Dioism'. As time passed Pakistan diminished until it became much weaker than even India.

Pakistan (yellow/tan) has nearly finished off India (pink). The USA (purplish blue) currently holds West Bengal.

Today Pakistan has gained on her former glory by reducing India to a single region. This was primarily due to the efforts of a single individual, Max McFarland 2. By using anti-Indian sentiments in the eUSA and enlisting the far-flung and influential Dioists of the world, Max McFarland won the Pakistani presidency and has waged a successful war against India. India is currently reduced to one region, Kerala, a sliver of land in the south western part of the country. Kerala is currently under attack by Pakistan, and Karnataka (India's most important region and occupied by Pakistan) is under attack by India, while multiple resistance wars against Pakistani rule are taking place in different states. The question is: Can Pakistan wipe out India, and if yes, can they maintain an empire?

All Quiet In Anatolia

The Eastern Mediteranian region, a hotspot for war in eRepublik. Greece (brown) currently holds over half of the Turkish (pinkish) original regions.

Greece, under the leadership of president Nekont, has been running a successful military campaign against her traditional rival Turkey. Throughout my time in eRep, wars between Turkey and Greece occur often and all end with the same result. One nation may gain the upper han😛 taking core regions of the other, destroying infrastructure, and severely damaging national economy. And without much time passing by the situation is often fairly quickly reversed. The latest Greek war against Turkey, made possible by a change in the MPP rule, has broken this trend. The Greeks have penetrated much further into Turkey than ever before. This has propelled Greek to the "Top 5" in terms of population. Greece has over 9,000 citizens, compared to Turkey's 650. Most surprising is that no battles are currently being fought. Greece is not trying to advance, Turkey is not trying to regain her land, and no resistance wars are being waged. It is a strange situation but without a doubt a battle will break out soon. Whether it will be a Greek move to wipe Turkey or a Turkish attempt to regain land is yet to be seen.

-All non-new countries in eRep have had six alliance proposals made to their congresses, one for each of the six new countries. These MPP's will be free for both sides, it is simply up to the national congresses to decide which ones to accept; whether it be all, none, or somewhere in the middle. One thing is for sure, we will have a lot of MPP's come tomorrow.
