New to Erepublik? Looking for more things to do? Read this.

Day 450, 17:44 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Squiddy

Many new citizens join the eUnited Kingdom with Erepublik and many get bored and leave.

There are only a few that stay on to become active members of our globally dominant society and it is my hope that this article raises the number of those that get involved, even if only by a small percentage.

So, you learned how to work, fight and train, perhaps not in that order. You've read all the recent articles and made some constructive comments.

You've now suddenly hit a wall. This large, indestructible wall is stopping you from enjoying the game. What is this wall? This wall is what I like to call the Wall of Eternal Boredom. It is this very wall responsible for the eDeaths of many hundreds, probably thousands of Erepublik players.

Well hey, guess what, by reading to the end of this article, you'll find a way round that wall 😉

The only real method to defeat this wall is to sign up to the UK Forums, which can be found here: http://forums.erepublik.co.uk

Why? What's so great about these forums, I hear you ask. Well let me tell you.

The UK Forum is the hub of communication for the eUnited Kingdom and the most important thing to remember is that anyone in the UK that has an ounce of responsibility will 99.9% of the time be a forum member.

The Government use the forums to operate on a daily basis, from managing the UK's economy, to operating our army, debating new legislation, selecting Ministers to fill the vital roles of The Cabinet and much more.

The Army uses the forums to relay orders, ensure that all soldiers are properly equipped and to host social events.

Political Parties use the forum to socialise with fellow members, debate legislative proposals and to help run party initiatives.

No matter what your goal is in Erepublik, to become the UK's strongest soldier, most influential politician or largest business owner; I guarantee that unless you join these forums AND become an active and involved member, you will not achieve anything of importance.

With knowledge comes power and the ability to advance yourself. This can only be achieved by joining the forums.

Surely not many people use these forums though, I hear some of you saying. Well, at present we have 864 members, 47,596 individual posts and 2,608 individual topics/threads.

The UK Forum is the largest, most advanced and heavily used forum in the eWorld - No other Erepublik forums are as extensively used as ours.

Now, don't get me wrong. The forum is not just for serious political and government matters, the forums are also about having a laugh and staying up to date in the world of Erepublik. You will find many competitions and fun things to do as well learn about important information that could be vital to the success of your career.

That's all I've got time for at the moment, but rest assured I am dedicated to ensuring that new citizens get what they deserve - the right to a brighter future.

I hope this has helped some of you, please let me know if it has and if anyone has any questions then please don't hesitate to PM me.

Regards,

Squiddy - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Leader of The Unity Party, Congressman and Commanding Officer of the Territorial Army.
