Never forget September 11

May we always remember the brave people who lost their lives, their families and friends, the heroic first responders, and the many who continue to work selflessly to preserve the memory of September 11.

just saying but you published this 10 hours into the 12 of september in Australia
I hate to say it, but if memory serves, didn't the time zones mean that it was actually sept. 12 here when it happened? If so, this was well timed.
Either way, definitely worth remembering.
Civil War
Rip those who died in the WTC's and I praise those Public Servants that bravely risked their lives, and some lost theirs trying to save those trapped in the buildings.
And rip to the 60,000 Chileans that were inadvertently killed thanks to the CIA backed coup against the democratically elected Chilean leader Salvador Allende.
"just saying but you published this 10 hours into the 12 of september in Australia"
lol, I know Tim_Holtz, I'm aware 😛 it was still September 11 in other parts of the world 😛
Isn't it soon time for 80 pages of nothing but "Lest We Forget?"
*shudders at the thought of Lany's post actually happening* I'm just glad eAus is a very under-publishing country when it comes to stuff like this.
"And rip to the 60,000 Chileans that were inadvertently killed thanks to the CIA backed coup against the democratically elected Chilean leader Salvador Allende."
60.000 inadvertently killed? Where you got that source from?
Allende was elected democratically, yes.
Hitler also reached power via democratic ways.
1 + 1 = ?

Umm? They were two completely different situations and your comment is completely irrelevant in context of the particular date we are talking about.
lol just like Eyebrows was elected senator by completely democratic methods : /
A lot of Chilians were against what Allende wanted to do - his majority was slim & he wanted to make fundamental changes to Chilean society - some good, some bad some unknown. It was not CIA tanks & soldiers that kicked him out but other Chileans
A lot were yes, but more were for his Government. Which he won through DEMOCRATIC means. The CIA paid right winged Chilean groups to help overthrow Allende.
also just for arguements sake hitler wasnt elected democratically....... he got 40% of votes and was kept out of of the bund (parliament) until a high ranking cabinet equivalent died. then they put hitler in that position (attempting to use him as a puppet).
so yeah hitler got to power by some silly cabinet choices not by the peoples will.
We have successfully turned a memorial into a talk about dictators?
apparently so
He did win the next election.
