Negative Campaigning

Day 954, 17:11 Published in USA USA by Bradley Reala

Today when I woke up I saw an ad out against my opponent, Aiden Astrup. The ad, which I will give absolutely no support by showing here, basically tried to say that Aiden was too young to be President. Honestly, I'm at a bit of a loss to figure out exactly what it was trying to do, because the ad is poorly done. Frankly, I'm depressed to see anything like that in the media.

This is a problem that has plagued this campaign, actually. Before Glorious Failure dropped out of the race, there was a negative campaign attacking Aiden and linking back to GF's article. Now that GF is out of the race, someone decided to put out a negative ad attacking Aiden and linking back to my own article. I don't know who's putting these ads out, but they're classes ads. It's stupid that we have to resort to mudslinging in order to win an election.

Up until now, and you may check by looking at my own articles, I have run a clean campaign. That's not about to change. I don't know who is running this ad, but I can promise you, if I find out that the person who is doing so is in my campaign staff, they will be fired on the spot. I take this very seriously. I have often and vocally spoken about how dirty politics like this are damaging America, killing our internal political system. It's time to clean it up, America. Running ads like this are hurtful to our candidates and our country in general. They make us all look bad, and it's time to stop running negative campaigns, and start focusing on positives of each candidate.
