Need Help and Recommendations about Athens

Hello my dear Greek friends. i hope all is well around there. as i've planned, i'll be in Athens between 27 to 29 of June.

I need some info about public transport from city center to airport and also Piraeus port to city center too. and all recommends are welcome about bars,restaurants and any other places.

There is 3 day tourist tickets you can buy at the vendor machine. Take it. Use the train for airport - athens central

From airport to center there is 1 metro line and 1-2 bus lines (express lines). From port to center there are 2 metro lines and of course several bus lines.

I'm not that familiar with Athens to propose places for food and drink. Monastiraki square has two roof bars, with great view to Acropolis. For places to visit in general, one good place to visit is Lykavitos hill (awesome view of the whole Attica basin), especially using the cable car from Kolonaki :d.

I was many times in Athens and in friday coming again.

ofc Acropolis and around it the Plaka.. Plaka is really wonderfull and also near to Monastiraki squere and have restorants too with really tasty foods.

Lykavitos hill like Jimkats1 said and also very nice to go to the Philopappos Hill, it is next to the Acropolis

dont miss the Sintagma squere and the NAtional Garde

KAlimarmaro Stadion and there are many many other things. ALso easy to go to Pireas, the port and the centrum is also nice

I liked a lot the 2004 Olympic Stadion too. It is a bit far from the center but the public transport works really good.

The third line of Athens' metro (blue line) connects airport and Piraeus port.
