Need a Job? (A guide to employment)

Day 293, 13:11 Published in USA USA by FX

As new members join this game one of the most common questions is "How do I find a job?" The answer is of course post your "CV" as your told a half a million times when you sign up.

Step two to posting your CV is to pick an industry, you want to pick one and stay with it as that it the best way to make a lot of money. Like real life the longer you work in one industry the better you'll be compensated. My suggestion is to work in Weapons as in the long run I think it will become one of the more stable markets as the price of food invariably decreases, and the need for homes and hospitals will eventually decrease.

Step three is to request a salary, the salary you request is irrelevant, you'll be working for low wages when you start out no matter what industry you pick, but they'll increase as your skill does.

Step four is the observations box, fill it out if you like, although personally I feel that box is useless.

Lastly be sure to check the radio button to make your CV "PUBLIC"

But it doesn't end there, simply waiting for a job to come to you can take a very long time, and is one of the biggest problems people will experience when looking for a job in a quality one company. Find a few companies in the industry you chose that look active or appealing in some way and msg them asking for a job, by the next day you should have several job offers to pick from, pick whichever one appeals to you and be sure to work every day.

When your skill reaches 2,3, or 4 you should look to move up to a company with a corresponding quality level which will usually mean more pay, but bare in mind you'll need to buy better quality food to keep your wellness up.
