Nations that need to be in the game - redux (Part 1)
ivan.europe
Hello readers,
A long time ago I've started a series of articles that I presented nations that would be great to be added in the eRepublik. If you haven't read them, I'll post links to them on the bottom, but now I've decided to make a new 2015 version of the series.
What happened after the series? Armenia and Georgia - two of my proposals - have finally arrived in the game along with Nigeria and oddly Cuba. Since then no new nations have been added and there are some empty spaces that needed to be filled. As I've mentioned earlier I've covered my proposals in other articles, but now this is brand new version with region proposals (no resources unfortunately). In this article I'll use some of my previous version, but with updates. Some RL regions may be merged for the purpouse of simplification. And here we go again:
ICELAND
This nation is wanted by many to be included since the beginning of the game. Iceland is the last unfilled spot in Europe(excluding the micronations and Azerbaijan). In the last expansion Iceland was yet again overlooked despite strong support from citizens of the then Asgard nations. Iceland is a must-have nation in the game and sooner or later this country will grace the New World.
Regions (some are merged in the proposals - that will be described additionally):
1. South - South and Reykjavik regions on the showcase map
2. Northwest
3. Northeast
AZERBAIJAN
It's no secret that all 3 of the Caucasus region should've been added in the same time, but oh well. As the last piece of this puzzle Azerbaijan is probobly the next new nation that will be added for the forseable future. Given its geopolitical situation, conflicts between Azerbaijan and Armenia may become frequent in the game as well.
Regions:
1. Nakhchivan
2. Qarabag/Karabakh - Kalbajar-Lachin and Yukhari Garabagh (these two are approximently the area which the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic controlls)
3. Aran-Lankaran - Aran and Lankaran
4. Ganja-Gazakh
5. Northern Provinces - Shaki-Zaqatala, Daghlig Shirvan and Guba-Khachmaz
6. Baku Capital Region - Absheron
ECUADOR
Same with Iceland and Azerbaijan, Ecuador is one of the unfilled places that are in dire need to be filled. If we exclude Guyana, Suriname and French Guiana Ecuador is the last South American country that is not included in the game. And I kinda wish eEcuador to be part of the game ASAP.

Regions
(Unfortunately due to the fact that Ecuador is divided into 24 provinces it's Hard to desribe which province will be part of which eRegion)
1. Quito Region
2. Pacific Region
3. Amazonia
4. Galapagos
BANGLADESH
As odd this choice may seem, but Bangladesh is one of the last unfilled places in South Asia now and its addition will create new dynamic in the region with India and Thailand as potential opponents. Or fancy for some colonies by the big ePowers.
Regions:
1. Dhaka
2. Bengal Delta - Khulna and Barisal
3. Northern Bengal - Rajshahi, Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet
4. Chittagong

I agree with Iceland. We tried really hard to get it in the game last time around but failed. I think it might be interesting with perhaps some of the smaller states like Luxemburg.
I also think Mongolia would be really awesome. Im really fascinated with Mongolia so it would be an interesting addition.
Also you should keep writing, your on the closer end to getting a Media Medial 🙂
You know, Mongolia will be great addition in the game as well. The Asian continent is underdeveloped in the game and adding new countries into the mix will reshape the game in this region.
Luxembourg is too small, but this nation and Malta are the only micronations in Europe that will be more likely included. Imagine eMalta.
More aricles will be following 😉
Not if a few thousand people move to Luxembourg 🙂
I would support Iceland, but I would be curious to know how many Icelanders play eRep before it goes ahead.
They don't have internet on Iceland. They couldn't find a sea cabel that was long enough.
