National Update 31.7. and Roadmap for August

Day 254, 09:27 Published in Slovenia Slovenia by Rudolf Maister

First month of active Slovenian government is behind us. Many things have been acomplished making life for eSlovenians easier, yet there are still plenty things to do in future. This article will summarise our activities in July and set an approximate roadmap of our work in future.

On 11th of June Slovenia was created, but we didn't have a official government until 1st of July. Yet many if not most of the work was done in weeks before the general elections. Most of our plans were already fully prepared and it was just a matter of time (or being elected in this case) until they were realised.

Economy:
- Quite a few companies which had overproduction recieved government support for buying export licenses
- We signed 3 trade agreements - with Romania, Czech Republic and UK, though UK cancelled it recently
- Slo Trade SO account was established to help exporting companies trade local currencies directly to SIT

In future, Minister of Economy Mariborcan has plans to sign more trade agreements (probably with Spain/Turkey/Iran) and keep current ones active. With new trade agreements Slo Trade account will also expand its working domain to other currencies. We are already working to adapt our economy strategy to changes in V1 based on information we currently have.

Finances:
- First the value of SIT was stabilised and with careful managment of offers on exchange market kept its value at 0.03 gold per SIT. Half way through the month its value was reduced to 0.025 gold per SIT to liven the economy.
- Slovenian National Bank account was created to enable easier distibution of resources to where they were and will be needed
- Managing the budget and giving resources to ministries

Zitko, Minister of Finances, will continue his work on exchange market and is preparing a proposition to give financial support to soldiers so they can buy quality houses.

Military:
- "Slovenska Vojska" was organized
- First Q4 hospital was built in Ljubljana
- Training companies were established, which by daily searching through human resources list helped every new player get a job. With that Slovenia achieved 3rd lowest unemployment rate in eWorld.
- 1st squad participated in Swedish-German war and thus gained considerable experience

In August Janez Grozni, Minister of Defense, will reorganize unit formations making communication between soldiers and commanders easier and quicker. He is also planning to take 3rd and 4th squad to a war zone.

Internal Affairs:
- House tax was set at 15 SIT and company at 50 SIT.
- Slovenian Social Services SO account was formed to help people with low wellness.
- Constituon of Slovenia was prepared and translated making it ready for a referendum in August

Kami, Minister of Internal Affairs, will in future try to establish Slovenian Police to identify Multi-accounters (though this depends on administrator's cooperation).

Foreing Affairs:
- We signed Mutual Protection Pacts with several countries - Brazil, Romania, Czech Republic, Sweden, United Kingdom, Norway, Ireland, Argentina and with that preventing an attack from Italy
- We maintaned good relations with allies and mutually informed each other of our actions
- We partcipated in a war and helped our allies

In future we will try to sign MPPs with friendly countries in North and South America and upon its creation join "Atlantic Alliance".

----
With 1st of August new Ministry will be created. Uros007 will become new Minister of Social Welfare. His primary objectives will be managing 2 training companies (Weapons and Hospital) and offering job to new players, ensuring that they do not quite erepublik simply because they don't get a job. He will also continue to send gifts to wounded soldiers on battlefield. Icarius will help him with his assigments as Vice-Minister.

We are also looking for Minister of Foreign Affairs and Press Representative (PR). Both will get sufficient guiding before they master their work.

With that, I would like to finish our quick overlook of our previous and future work.
