Join the new world

Well. It’s been a while since I’ve written for my own paper. Doubtless, half of my subscribers are dead or whatever. It’s not like I had many anyway.

The point of this article is to endorse chickensguys. I’m not going to bother bolding or posting pictures or any of that fancy crap. I don’t want this to seem like a campaign article. I’m simply sharing my reasoning as to why I’ll be voting for cg.

This country lacks a goal. We have for a long, long time. I haven’t felt a real pull since the Three Pillars campaign. The closest I came to being excited for battles was during our invasion of Russia and our multiple tries at taking Lionking. Do you know those have that taking an Indonesian region didn’t?

Why, you’re dumb. That’s the wrong answer. The right answer is a media buildup and set in stone goal. We stated our objective to take the Three Pillars a long time in advance, even before we went through Japan. We outlined our objectives and referenced them everywhere. There were articles, forum posts, and speculation on IRC. We started mumbling about Indonesia around the time we started moving into Thailand. That’s why I didn’t give a damn when we took Sumatra. It was worthless to me. It might have meant something to the people who had been around for Indonesia’s relevance, but for those who joined after their removal from Karnataka it was never adequately explained. It felt just like conquering any other enemy region.

Do you know why we haven’t widely published any goals of any sort? It’s because we’re afraid. We don’t want to fail. I honestly don’t think anyone has the guts to say, “Let’s get into Brazil” or any other gutsy, difficult task. They are afraid of losing and failing. They don’t want to be seen as the president that couldn’t do so-and-so.

People bring up the point of how much money that would cost. I honestly don’t know. What I do know is that chickensguys won’t care about that. It’s probably a dumb move. It might leave us vulnerable to attack and financially drained. Oh. No.

God forbid we get wiped. Do you know what would happen if we got wiped? Nothing. We’d RW ourselves back within a week. We’d have a good time defending our regions over the holiday break and trying to reclaim our territory. Or we could be on the offensive, storming across wherever it is.

I’m sure chickensguys will do something seemingly ridiculous. I think we’ll turn out the better for it. When I look at the other candidates, none of them really make me think they’ll lead us on a grand campaign of either success or failure. I actually love most of those players that are running. They are great people who do a lot more work for this country then I do. I just don’t think they have the vision. That’s why I’ll be voting for chickensguys.
