My Stupidity, America's Gain
Let me just state for the record that I'm an idiot; no need to repeat what I've already determined in the comments.
Here's what I'm talking about. If you care to read the last few issues of this newspaper, you'll learn that I've been travelling the world for the past week or so. On Sunday morning I left Australia, returned to the US to fight a few battles, then took off to my current location of Mexico. What happened next can only be blamed on poor pre-morning coffee inattentiveness. Out of habit I took a job and worked one time to get some local currency. Fairly harmless, right?
Well, that's when the war in California broke out. Now I'm stuck here until I can resign (09/02) or I can convince my employer to fire me (no luck there yet.) Thus, I'm unable to directly fight in what looks like will be the mother of all battles.
Choosing to light a candle rather than curse the darkness, however, I offer this as an atonement. I WILL AWARD 1 GOLD TO FIVE US CITIZENS to fight in California in my stead. The first five applicants who meet the following criteria will receive the booty:
1. Must be a US citizen with a strength equal or greater than my own (6.12.)
2. Must request the gold in the comment section.
3. Not really a requirement, but it'd be nice if you subscribed (it's a small price for getting gold.)
Again, I know that I'm an idiot, but I am an idiot willing to do my part.
UPDATE: As per the suggestions below, the gold's going to the 1st AD.

You should donate it to the military instead. The tanks will make better use of it.

Well, here is some basic maths:
A q1 weapon costs 0,161 gold in the US. One person with 6.12 str and captain rank can do 225 damage with 5 fights starting from wellness 100. It costs 0,805 gold. It means 0,00357 gold/damage point cost.
If you give the gold to the 1st Armored, some (not so) random guy with a 16 str will fight with 100 wellness using wellness pack (2 gold) and a q5 weapon (1,524 gold USA price): total cost: 3,524 gold for 291 damage. It means 0,0121 gold/damage point cost. Well it's a more than 3 times bigger cost/damage ratio.
Anyway it's nice to see that you are fighting this war for more than a month and still haven't learned anything. 😉

Thanks to all who responded, but sorry, my weapons fund all went to the 1st AD.
BTW, still no luck in getting fired. I fought in a training war in Latvia, got my health down to the 40s and then worked. Maybe that'll do the trick.
