My Reign is Over

Day 1,691, 02:50 Published in Norway Georgia by Endymionis

Today my time as our nations president has ended. Three (almost consecutive) months are over. A lot has happened during this time, some of it good, some of it bad and some of it just plain weird.

Usually when I write articles I’m sitting at home on my couch, with erepublik, my notes and the internet available. Now I’m stopping by at a café on my way back to my hometown, getting ready for some well deserved vacation.

It is actually not that easy to remember everything that has happened since March. Which tells me it has been quite an eventful time. This office has taken up a lot of spare time, given some headaches, frustration, challenges and perhaps a bit of insomnia, but it has all been worth it.
I have learned a lot, worked with great people, watched hard work and good plans take fruit.

When was first elected we were under PTO and were wiped, now we are back on the map and more importantly the PTOers are gone. This is because we - in a time of crisis - are able to work as one, putting our own interests aside to make our country strong, to make our people unified and to make our spirit unbreakable.
Now that we have our freedom, our political parties will become more defined, more polarized, but let’s not forget we all want what is best for eNorway.

I was not planning to thank anyone, because there are just to many, but I feel I should mention Che Kukaken. He stepped in last minute when I could not run in May and did an outstanding job.

A few things I do remember though is when the Ruskies came-a-knocking, we secured the congress elections and when I was proposed impeached. Well, I guess you haven’t really been president until at least one congressman wants to impeach you😉

I am assured that Norway is in good hands now that Ursidae Polar takes office, he has assembled a great cabinet and I believe he will prove to have a very clear and inspiring style of leadership.
I will continue as an adviser and mt main focus will be to continue to work with our medals.
Now my glass is empty so it’s time I continue my journey back home, I’ll publish this when I get re-connected to the internet.

Peace out,
- Endy
