My Defense and FA plans

Defense
What do we need to change? At this time I cannot say as we will be putting The Master Plan into use. My main priority at this point is organization, organization, organization. What are the duties of this Ministry? According to The Master Plan recently created the duties for the MoD, in coordination with the Chief of Staff, will be to do things such as issue battle orders, release war games notifications, as well as publish recruitment articles. In addition to this, offer classes through the University and put out articles showing the progress the IDF. I plan to have weekly articles showing our fine soldiers who have moved up in rank, and who has attained Battle Hero. As recently quoted by Digits, "We can't have an army without structure, supply lines and proper communication". This is what I will work towards and that is what I will expect of each and everyone in the Ministry of Defense to work towards.

I have also been trying to formulate a plan for our military to hold random drills either once or twice per week. Due to the great work done by all who have helped in building the relationships that we currently have with other nations, I do not foresee Ireland being attacked any time soon. That does not mean it cannot happen and that does not mean we should not test our readiness.

Foreign Affairs
Currently our MoFA handles the recruiting, assigning and working with ambassadors, is available to assist the President and the Dail with things regarding foreign affairs, and keeping up with and notifying the public of what is going on in the world. This Minister must also do research for war games which we rely so much on in order for our troops to gain strength and rank. War games options will always be looked at so that we may continue to use them to our advantage as often as possible. I plan to work closely with this Ministry to continue in the tradition that has been Ireland's for ages, and that is to build and strengthen relations with not only those countries neighboring us, but with the whole world over.

Our current MoFA and my running mate, Darragh O Faolain, worked closely with Austrian President Rangeley, to bring us the International Games which were called The Summit. This Summit included not only Austria and Ireland but also Switzerland and the Czech Republic. I would ask that we as a nation continue to support and participate in this and make it a tradition and hopefully it can grow to include more nations.

I would expect these two Ministries to work hand in hand to do whatever is necessary to make their respective departments as successful as possible. For this can do nothing but make Ireland even more successful.
