My Congressional Platform

I intend to keep this simple first of all. This is not an advertisement of my accomplishments but a description of what i stand for as a person, citizen, and hopefully future congressmen. Since i am new to the political stage though i shall first tell you a bit about my erepublik self.

I have been a citizen in erepublik for 4 months, and i have lived in this great country since my birth. Though i am not a Canadian in real life, this eCountry has my undying loyalty and devotion. As you may know i have never served in office before but i play this game every day and am active both in the workplace, my party, and in following news and current events. i am a member of the CSD and agree with many of the party's general viewpoints. i support our wise and articulate leader Zanalan, and believe in democratic socialism. in addition i am opposed to the ideals of Augustus Baldwin and the Canadian Empire Party (big surprise there right?)

some of my core political views:

-a moderately higher VAT to help deal with our dangerously low gold reserves

-increased oversight of government spending (especially with regards to unnecessary expenditures in the CAF at the expense of other citizens)

-a non military-based society. (this is not to say that i dont value our brave fighters in the CAF or want a stronger military. i very much do, but i believe that there are other ways to contribute to our country then through being a soldier. i believe that EVERY citizen is a valued asset to this country, no matter how strong or weak, and should receive the full support of their government.)

-the creation of more hospitals for the eCanadian People
