hello everyone. my name is Scorpius and i am running as the CPP/RFP candidate for Quebec this election

i dont want to take too much of your time so i will cut straight to the point and simply describe what i stand for and tell you a bit about myself

who i am: a lifelong, loyal, ecanadian citizen and 1 term congressmen who is super active and online every day. during my term in congress i fought to keep our country safe from our enemies, financially stable, democratic, and effectively governed. i am active on the forums and participate in discussions on IRC often. in the month that i have been out of congress i have not stopped contributing to our society.

during my time off i have:

helped advocate for greater government transparency

sought to expand the cultural aspect of erepublik by helping to lead our country's first organized religion, the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster

served as a medic in MeSu and a soldier in the CAF's 69th RCM platoon

remained active on the forums and IRC as well as ingame

My views:

-on taxes: i support a higher VAT tax and the Rearden 2.0 Plan

-on the CAF: i would like to see a CAF where supplies are distributed not just to stronger fighters but to lower lvl soldiers as well so all can participate in fighting for our country and our allies. however due to budget restrictions i know this is a problem. that is why i would encourage increased oversight of CAF spending to prevent wasting money on inactive soldiers and therefor have more to help those who deserve it

-on the arts: i fully support the arts and would continue to do so in congress. journalists like banach and plugson and the newspapers and literary awards that they run are a crucial part of our country and in congress i would do whatever i can to support all serious journalists and their literary endeavors.

on government transparency: i agree with Josh Taggart in that our government needs to explain itself more to the people. while i understand that many of congress's doings are too sensitive to reveal to the public, many issues that people deserve to know are not being adequately reported on. in congress i would advocate for more public updates to keep you all informed

in conclusion, if elected i would fight for everyone's best interests and help make eCanada even greater then it currently is.

i would like to wish my opponents in this election good luck and ask that no matter who you vote for you keep yourself informed and make a good decision this election season.
