MSL: West Virginia Voting Record - Term 2

Hey there everybody,

I have set this article out to host my voting record for my second term. I will occasionally update it so as to not spam up my newspaper.

First of all are the donations to CBO and Fort Knox. These were in order to regulate the Money Market as well as fund the budget:

Both of these were viewed to be compromises between free trade and anti-free trade, so I voted YES.

On this tax change, I voted NO because there wasn't much of a change so I found it pointless.

On this tax change, I voted YES because it was a move toward free trade but was more of a compromise, like the first 2 on this list.

Then there are the pre-war MPPs

China wanted in on our wargames. I voted YES because it doesn't really hurt to have more friends. Besides, China is surrounded by PEACE nations.

Croatia is a friend that was under the threat of a PTO (which was successful). They are a strong military and are strong friends as well. I voted YES.

Bosnia used to only border Croatia, a friend. Serbia freed up some regions and now border Bosnia, so this MPP was to help protect them. I voted YES.

The Czech Republic is completely surrounded by PEACE nations, and by MPPing with them, it means that we have the opportunity to maintain a chink in their armor. This was YES as well.

Then, after we learned about the upcoming war, we moved to get as many MPPs as possible:

Switzerland
Finland
Croatia
Sweden
Poland
Norway
Spain
N Korea

I voted YES on all of these.

Finally, there are the emergency war tax increases. Because of the pending war with PEACE, we decided to raise our income taxes in almost every industry for one week. If we are attacked, that could be suspended, but it is for at least one week. It is generally accepted that income tax brings in the most money in the most dependable way, so they were passed.
