Foreign news

Time for a beer.

As my fingers are typing this, the Portuguese are RW’ing the Azores back into their territory.
The official war between the two nations is not closed with this, since the auto-attack forced the Venezuelans to aim for the province of Alentejo. This is also the war that appears on your homepage. Venezuela is attempting not to win.
For the Hungarians and their alliance, these are bright days. After capturing Bavaria yesterday, they are currently in the lead in the battle for Baden-Wurttemburg. Since, at the same time, Poland is taking over Hesse, that would mean the elimination of our eastern neighbour Germany.

European war update:
* Macedonia secured Molise and is about to attack Apulia in the fight with their new Natural Enemy Croatia. At the moment, Croatia is still holding off an RW from Italy over there.
* Romania is once again getting pushed back by the Serbians.
* Slovenia is taking over the last Swiss territory.
* Bulgaria is struggling to get back it’s original capital Sofia.
* In what started as the British war, we see a setback of the Canadians who are taken on their own territory by Sweden. In the meanwhile has Ireland taken the momentum against the UK by gaining Louth.
* Spain is having a side-seeing walk through-out the United States.
* Russia is holding on to their socks, since Turkey smacked them back into Siberia.
* Finland is getting erased of the map by Estonia.
Winners of the day: Hungary, Sweden and Turkey.
Losers of the day: Germany, Finland and Switzerland.

New CP: Mittekemuis

Females on their second term are fans of each other. Merkel smiles when she sees the result for our “Mitte”.

After a thriller that must have cost all followers their fingernails, the victory went to Mittekemuis. During the afternoon, she had maximized the difference with the concurrence to eleven votes, but in the evening hours, we saw a return by Touchdown Thomas. They evenly balanced for a few hours, but in the last sprint, Mitteke could convince the final voters. With 69 votes against 65, she has beaten the candidate from BelgiumForBelgians. Chris Stanwick could never compete against those two big players, but could still charm 12% of the voters.
With this small victory, Mittekemuis can start a second term with her new government. It contains most of the people from May, such as MoE Elynea (with a new side-kick), MoFun Monsieur Guillontine, Jofroi, MoHA Ernest, MoFA Fhaemita and off course vice-president NLSP. Some new names have been added. The young Mudduck95 can show himself in the field of education and I have high hopes in him. He seems enthusiast and may offer refreshing views. Pieter is a bit of a surprise as MoD, but certainly someone who can handle this task. I see in him someone who will do his work fast and correct, but will stay out of the spotlights at any time. Last but not least, there is Helviro as the MoF. I must say that I had not expected this man in our government. Although I must say I do not doubt his capabilities at all, I wonder what he will do on the matter of financing the Army.

Personal statement

With the new government (remarkably looking like the old one😁) elected, the two chosen bodies of our nation get started for twenty days together. We could bicker around, or we could help each other while holding control. Twenty days is a long time if you ask me, and I think there are still a lot of matters that should/could get handled before the end of the month...

* More inflow by new players, since we dropped below 400 players.
* How to increase activity (b.e. improving the BTA) and stop retention.
* A better immigration policy that will provide long-term guidelines that are open and clear
* The financial support of BAF.
* The relation between BTA and BAF.
* In ten days: a new MPP.

What do you think that should be brought up? One of those above or something else/more? What are your concerns that could be solved by congress and/or the government? Post them in comments or pm me.
