Mr. Brodie for President of TNT

Day 291, 09:44 Published in Thailand United Kingdom by mr. brodie
I hear by announce that I will be running for Party President of Thai Nation Together party

Over the past few months, Thailand has been hit hard by the curse of Multi-accounting. This has left Thailand with out any real leadership. The treasury is very low on gold, due to ex-Presidents stealing money, yet it had a lot of THB, which could be used greatly to the re-building of this great empire.

I've been watching the moves of the new President closely, but in my personal opinion a lot more could be done. But you ask, why Brodie? What ideas has he got? I'll hopefully answer that question in this manifesto. I'm only doing a small manifesto this time round, as I have other things to do, so it wont be as detailed as a GE manifesto would be.

I have quite a large amount of political experience when it comes to this game, I have been a PP for almost 5 months overall before. I know how to look after the people and do what they want, but also to stay firm when somebody question me, or the party. At previous parties I doubled the membership withing 2 months, boosted activity by 100% and gave a much friendlier atmosphere all round.

Currently communication in Thailand, between political parties and the people, is very low. I make it my duty to boost the use of the forum, so we can get some real discussion going. Discussion is the only effective way of running a country. We can't allow 1 single person to do what he thinks is best, without finding out what congress and the people want. I will be listening to all ideas and asking congress for a direct answer before making any major decisions. This will not only keep the country safer, but it'll allow you guys to have a say rather than just clicking “Reject” or “Accept”.

One of the main problems I have noticed that Presidents in Thailand can do whatever they want without consequence. I would implement a constitution that would prevent Gold and money being stolen from the Treasury, for the wellbeing of the country, certain rules for becoming President and other responsibilities to help the Thai community.

When selecting congressmen, I'll choose them on activity and input, not on my relations with them. We need an active congress so we can get proposals discussed, improved and then accepted/rejected. There is no point in putting forward an idea without it being improved to benefit the country to the best of its ability.

I would like to invest in some Gold in to making “Training Companies”, this would allow us to get a strong work force in each different sector, which in the long term will improve out economy greatly. We currently lack Gold, but if need be, we could easily get a loan from another country or even organize something with the Admins.

Once our work force is sorted out, I plan to implement a Minimum Wage. It's unfair that some people get paid less than others, thus not allowing them an even chance in this game. The major problem with our economy is the lack of products in certain sectors. We produce quite a lot of food, but by simply streamlining the industry, we could almost double the output of the products. For those that don't understand what I mean, basically we get all the workers in a certain sector to go in to as few companies as possible, this means we boost productivity, meaning more products are produced. Having small numbers of workers in lots of different companies doesn't do the economy any good, and this means the prices of products will gradually rise, as companies will start wage wars for more employees.

With the release of V1 mere weeks away, we will need to choose our allies very carefully. There will be a restriction on MPPs meaning that there is always a chance of attack. Personally I wouldn't always pick the strongest side to ally with, I want to fight along side those that are loyal, only together can we really be victorious. We will have to pick sides in the future, and along with you, the people, we will decide who has been the most helpful to us. I want to remain Neutral, and not get involved in things that we aren't needed.

One on my major goals is to set up a Mobile Military force for the Thai people. We shall fund soldiers with weapons and gifts, and then send them in to a war zone to try and gain some experience on the battle field. We will have to start small, to not effect the Market too much, but with time it will grow. I have a lot of experience fighting in wars and will pass on all the knowledge I have to the soldiers, in terms of choosing the fights, when to enter, the places to go.

Currently there is a lot of THB in circulation, this in my opinion isn't great for the economy. I shall try to improve the value of THB to other currencies, which will hopefully make us a better target for imports. You may think that imports are bad, but at out current stage, all the help we can get should be greatly appreciated.

It seems that the Thai taxes are set to any random amount, I will judge the market and set to the levels which I, and congress, think is best for the current market situation. For housing taxes, I want to lower these a lot. There is no real need for them at this stage of the game, I will use government funding to purchase all hospitals which we require.

I would like to introduce a larger gifting scheme, funded by the government. Mayors don't have a lot to do at the moment, and I want them to get more involved with the citizens. I want all Mayors to gift each citizen in their city a minimum of 10% every 2 weeks. We can't do more, as it will require a lot more money and I don't want to saturate the gifts market.

This is a basic draft for what I plan for the great country of Thailand, although it's only a Party Election, I feel that I need to make it clear what I want to do from the start. I feel I'm the best choice for PP and I hope I can rely on you to vote Mr. Brodie when you get to the ballot box on the 10th.
