Congratulations to long-time player Emerick for his impending election victory. It is clear that the motivating factor for this result was the eUS losses in the war against Peace. Likewise, the primary measure of the Emerick administration will be its management of the war and protection of our homeland. I wish the best of luck to Emerick in the difficult job he will be assuming.

Hopefully a change in leadership will usher in a more effective strategy in the war. I’ve read a lot of great ideas about possible ways to turn the tables within the scope of the war module in this game. Some have suggested initiating resistance wars to push back against Peace, others have argued that we should support our allies in attacking Peace countries to put them on the defensive so they cannot continue attacking. I’m no military expert, but this election creates an opportunity for us to move away from our past failed strategies.

Additionally, I recommend that the incoming administration reach out to general managers and get more organizations involved in the war. Other than donating gold, what can we do to help the war efforts?

In an earlier article, I advocated for more communication with newer members for more effective military efforts. Stealing an idea from a commenter, this would be a great opportunity to involve general managers. Specifically, if the administration drafted messages to be distributed to all employees by general managers that would go a long way towards improving communication.
