Motion... what now?

Day 1,908, 10:41 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Gareth.4686

In recent months we've grown as individuals, parties and nations. As individuals we've gained badges, opened and expanded companies and helped win battles. As parties we've gained members, in many cases we have increased our share of votes and won elections. As nations we've fought battles both for us and for our allies.

We have seen the emergence of many new players as well as the continued progress of many well established ones. Unfortunately we have also seen a number of players become less active with some even stopping playing completely. Overall the trend seems to be one where more people are playing, more often; which is great for the game as a whole as well as being great for us as individuals, parties and nations.

We have also seen a number of changes in the game, as is probably expected, these have had a mixed response.

The question we should be asking is 'what now?' and to expand on this, 'how?'

Many people have been stating, or at least implying, that they are unhappy with the way things are and many parties are suggesting that they have the best ideas and the way forward is to join them.

Many articles are retrospective but few highlight the real problems and even fewer propose real solutions.

It is clear that there are many options available and that each party proposes a slightly different solution. Who is right? Well, who knows... All I know is that if we don't act things can't get better. We need to work together, as individuals, as parties and as nations to encourage more people to play and to be more active and to make this world a better place.

As I said earlier, the important questions are 'what now?' and 'how?'.

We need to discover and explore the real problems and propose, discuss and implement real solutions, allowing us to make real progress. We need to combat the other parties and the other nations.

As individuals, as a party, as a nation, we can do this, we will do this, united we stand!
